The beach at Kuta is one of the most popular on the island, particularly for the spectacular views of the sunset it offers in the evenings. The sea here has powerful tides making it popular with surfers from across the world. A range of water sports including scuba diving is available from Kuta beach, and trips out snorkelling and viewing the local sea life are popular. Within the town of Kuta there is a large market as well as a number of shops which sell a range of souvenirs, from art to sarongs and everything in between.

Weather and Climate

Bali has a tropical climate; it is generally dry and sunny from April to September, with temperatures ranging from 25C to 33C. Bali experiences slightly higher rainfall from October to March, however it is still warm with temperatures between 25C and 35C. The coastal regions of Bali are typically hotter than inland, however, refreshing sea breezes make it more comfortable and pleasant.
