The spa charged me twice the price indicated, really unprofessional

Review by Flora_cisto

I came yesterday for a bikini wax but the lady at the desk told me she didn’t do bikini and to comeback the day after because the lady who could do bikini would be there. I left my phone number so she could call me to confirm me I could comeback. She called me the next morning and when I showed up she told me she couldn’t do brazilian...

Then she called her boss and told me she could do it. At the end she charged me 5.000 shillings (more than 30euros, so more expansive than Parisian prices) because she doubled the price since it was a brazilian. But on their website, the price of a bikini wax want less expansive than that. The lady took 40min for a wax who usually takes 15 and the work was really not that good. Definitely not coming back.

BRILLIANT, COMFORTABLE & ENJOYABLE STAY ON OUR 51 ST.. WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Review by Subhash m Nairobi, Kenya

My wife and I spent two memorable days during the weekend of 30th. & 31st. May, 2021 along with my family members at this magnificent and outstanding property with wonderful surroundings, ambience, & beachfront Hotel...

Our rooms booking/reservation was efficiently handled by Mr. Daniel Mutheki & Mr. Gamelack(Sales/Reservations). We were happily welcomed by the resort manager, Ms. Lucy Wangari & Guest Relations Officer, Ms. Jolinda with impressive welcome drinks by Mr. Brian(Administration). We were upgraded to the platinum sea facing rooms with very good view of the ocean thanks to Mr. Paras Raninga (Front Office Manager). Sitting by the beach and early morning walk in the sands was simply superb. All covid protocals were very well followed for the guests safety. Housekeeping was praiseworthy thanks to Mr. Sammy Ouma(Housekeeping Supervisor) and Housekeeper Mr. Maurice Shitakha who ensured our rooms were clean and tidy and well sanitized. Ozone - Kids Club was very well managed and all the staff deserve pats on their backs for looking after the kids including our grandson with variety of entertainment and activities which kept the kids busy with lovely lunch and dinner. Overall the atmosphere, quality service, delicious vegetarian food was simply praise worthy. Mr. Robert Kimotho (Restaurant Manager) Vegetarian Chef Mr. Musila Silverstein and the team were co-operative and helpful and ensure we were very much at home. Mr. Raphel(Restaurant Waiter) was quite attentive and he served us very well. We were very well served with the tasty Dum Aloo, Butter Masala Paneer, Naans, Egg Masala besides other dishes during the well spreaded buffett dinner(Veg/Non Veg) on saturday night, with variety of sweet dishes. We enjoyed every minute of our stay as there was never a dull moment as we were very well looked after. Grateful thanks to the Management & staff for their care and respect and not forgetting the top class and yummy yummy Wedding Anniversary Cake they made for us to our total surprise and satisfaction. Sunday Morning Breakfast was simply worth to talk about with extensive menu of both vegetarian and non vegetarian, with fresh juices, variety of fruits, and eye catching eatable items.(& Not forgetting the Omelette Corner, our special Aloo Parathas and packed potatoes with coconut chutney) Great facilities, lovely restaurants, clean swimming pools with slides in one of them. It was worth money spent. We have been to this beautiful resort many times in the past and look forward to visit again in future. No complains at all! Thank you all at the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa. Keep up the Good work. Subhash Modi - Former International Cricket Umpire

Great Animation Team

Review by 210imranc

Lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay with Family last week. My kids love the animation team, great job with kids activities. Gideon, Titus, Brian, Lucky and the rest of the team are great with kids...

We also planted a tree for World Environment day. Good service generally, F&B manager Robert was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is the best in the North Coast of Mombasa

The worst hotel in mombosa. Avoid this place.

Review by JESS3jessethomas Washington DC, District of Columbia

Horrible service from David the manger and the security team. First they told me I can’t take photos in the hotel grounds, and I pulled my phone out to record the interaction and they told me not to take their photo, then they took their camera out and took my photo? Amateur hour stuff. Avoid this place! 🤡🤡🤡

Notice the head of security isn’t wearing his mask properly? These people were ridiculously rude.

The hotel is clearly trying for an upscale look, but it’s just an average hotel with horrible service...

Spend your money up the road at Bahrai Beach, better hotel and nice employees.
