Very Low Standards

Review by Andrew G Nairobi

Visited Swahili Beach after a long time. What has the makings of a great hotel is however lost. The rooms whereas refurbished still seem worn, the staff try to be helpful but are not sufficiently empowered but worst of all is the bland food...

There are better places next door.

Swahili Beach is Overrated

Review by crystalk2016 Nairobi, Kenya

As the title goes Swahili Beach is truly overrated. From the front office tall lady who seems to have multiple things to do except attend to us, to the bad service especially the coffee service in the morning to the substandard meals. Imagine going to the coast and not enjoying seafood...

The menu was so boring. They have no activities at during the day or night no safari dancers, entertainment police etc. (Try Turtle Bay, Diani Sea Lodge for maximum fun and enjoyment plus excellent seafood stations) It's enough of the bad stuff. The only good thing about Swahili Beach are the pool attendants and the massage parlour.

They say getting to the top is not hard but staying there is. I believe Swahili Beach are riding on past glory and they will soon be just that...the past 🥱

Beautiful

Review by bittermelon2015 Europe

Beautiful property , with lovely, well kept gardens and plenty of pools. Rooms are a bit worn but are clean and comfy. Restaurants offer great food, buffet at main restaurant and a la carte in the other ones...

The beach restaurant is especially nice with delicious food and beautiful view of the ocean. Plenty of sunbeds available. Only con is reception staff , very unfriendly, unproffessional and actually downgrading what would be an A review.

Lovely getaway

Review by Beatrice V Nairobi, Kenya

The place is beautifully done, lovely views, staff are polite and professional, various restaurants where one can eat (swahili, ala carte, sea food) wide variety.

Enjoyed lovely meals at Baharini restaurant on the beach.

The hotel manager makes a point of engaging all the visitors to welcome them to the facility.
