Had a brilliant 3 weeks here, reception helpful, room lovely, pool bar & staff amazing.... main restaurant & food, lacking..., I guess they doing a re furb, as work was going on, so hopefully will be better, I’d go back as situated on the seafront. Had it’s own section on the beach, towels every day for swimming etc, spa pool & gym brilliant too, to be used free of charge between 10-4 😊

Summer in wintertime

Review by E6918GYjudithsDen Bosch, The Netherlands

We had a real nice stay in Agadir! We especially enjoyed the friendly staff! Both in the restaurant and at the miniclub. The employees at the miniclub / kids club were very good with the kids; everyone was having a great time. Our daughter could not wait to go and play!

Thanks to the Online Guest Manager.

Stayed in this hotel by chance because of a flight cancellation, and l have to say that it was by far the best Hotel l have stayed in Morocco so far, and ranked highly amongst a lot of the Hotels l have stayed in around the world as business traveler. But l have to say a particular thank you to Amine Rajraji the Online Gust Manager who did an amazing job dealing with, what was a very difficult situation, for the many guests that were in my situation with the flight cancellation. He handled the situation with respect and sensitivity, which was much appreciated, thank you. Robin.

Stolen Perfume :-(

Review by sair1985England

We was sent to the Royal Atlas & Spa following a flight cancellation. The reviews looked good and on arrival the hotel looks lovely, so I was trying to look on the bright side of being delayed for a couple of extra days.

We checked in and our room was nice, but small compared to the hotel we had come from, but did the job nicely...

Our first stop after check in was dinner which was very busy, small and not a great deal of choice.

Next morning after what I admit was a good night sleep (bed was very comfortable) we went to try out breakfast. WOW how busy was that! Not enough seats, tables, cutlery, bowls... it was crazy. We sat with a couple who had been there a couple of weeks who explained that the restaurant area was half the normal size due to some works and it obviously just couldn't cope with the additional flight cancellation people. Maybe they should have declined some of the bookings!

We didn't have any more food at the hotel due to the poor experiences we had at these meals, even though they were included.

We then had to sort out our additional stay at the hotel, but they weren't very helpful just stating that they hadn't heard from the airline. They could have taken a more pro-active approach to the situation.

We spent the rest of the day by the pool. Not heated and severely lacking in parasols. Seemed like enough sunbeds, although they were a bit old looking.

Staff around the pool didn't seem particularly engaging or friendly.

On arriving back into our room we discovered it hadn't been cleaned and a brand new bottle of perfume had disappeared. (Never had I thought it was something I should put in the safe!)

We went to reception who asked us to wait until the morning. The next day we were checking out but asked them to confirm who had been in and out of our room the previous day. We could see the cleaner tried to enter our room in the morning (when we was in bed which we were aware of), but then again at 12pm and 2pm. So a cleaner entered our room, never cleaned it and something is now missing. The man on reception explained the mini bar was most likely being checked, but I don't understand why it would be checked twice without the room being cleaned. Also, the perfume was right by the mini bar. He couldn't offer any explanation to this. We were offered a drink to say sorry (!)

Overall I wouldn't stay here again and would advise you to lock anything of value in the safe!
