Turtle Beach Resort

Australia, Australasia
Brisbane

The uniquely beautiful Turtle Beach Resort has been a worthy winner of Queensland's Best Deluxe Accommodation award and it's easy to see why. There is a real sense of boutique style about this four and a half star hotel. You'll see it in the beautiful façade and in the spectacular café with its richly painted ceiling. And you'll get a real sense of just how special it is from the other guests too - they've chosen the Turtle Beach Resort because they know it lives up to the hype.

The award winning Turtle Beach Resort - deluxe accommodation at its finest:

It's not just about style and facilities - Turtle Beach Resort is very handily located for all sorts of holidaymakers' needs. If you're here for the sun and sand, you're only 400 yards away from Mermaid Beach. If you're here for the vibe, Surfer's Paradise is just a short bus ride away. And if you'd like to do a little bit of shopping, there's the Pacific Fair and Robina Town shopping centres to explore.

Added to all of that there are the many amenities of the Turtle Beach Resort for you to enjoy too. These include four large heated lagoon pools, and the stunning Chelonia pool – an especially elegant and adults only treat.

There are nine barbeque areas – so you can pick up some fresh local produce in town, fire up the BBQ and enjoy. There's a pizzeria and café on site too – giving you all sorts of options for eating in.

And the amenities don't stop there. Guests at the Turtle Beach Resort can enjoy the in-house cinema, two tennis courts, as well as the wonderful grounds. There's a convenience store on site too and an excellent bar.

For a change of pace, we also recommend taking a stroll around the grounds. Just wandering in the tropical gardens will give you that sense of being on holiday in a wonderfully rich and exotic location.

The final winning ingredient is the accommodation itself. The large one and two bedroom en suite apartments come with balcony or patio and a fully-equipped kitchen. The separate living area features a flat screen satellite TV and a choice of movies, as well as broadband access.

Turtle Beach Resort is worth every one if its stars and prizes. It's a stunning resort giving guests easy access to so much of what this region of Australia has to offer.

Excellent Value, Great for kids

We read the reviews prior to booking and was pleased to see majority of positive reviews. The stay was great! We all loved our stay! So much so, that when we arrived home, we booked another 2 trips for later in the year. The resort is fantastic for kids, there is always something for the kids to do...

The room was very clean, with ample supplies. Beds were extremely comfortable and the kids loved the TV in their room. Kids club was awesome, the kids had a great night at the disco.

turtle beach :)))

Review by olivialoves2travelQuorn, Australia

turtle beach resort was an excellent fit for my family and i. so many activities and things to do which sparked interest in my little munchkins. not long from the popular tourist attractions either (theme parks, zoo, shopping, etc.) the rooms were nice and the three, (thats right three!), pools/waterslides were ever nicer! tennis courts were available for free, was just very hard to catch them at a time it wasn’t jam packed with people! felt like i was a the australian open ;) anyways...

my tip: if your looking for a child friendly getaway in the goldie, turtle beach is for you.

False advertising

So we as a family have gone on holidays in winter time cause we wanted to help support our community as much as possible through the covid crisis to keep our economy going but we have been disappointed because when we booked it was advertised that all the pools were heated and that they had a cinema, sauna, gym available to us along with a few other things however since arriving we have found out that the kids waterpark is Not heated, cinema, sauna and gym is closed. I have spoke with reception who stated they would speak with management about the advertisement however they did not offer anything else to make up for the mistake. I wouldn't return in a hurry however the room was clean and nice...

The kids were very disappointed they couldn't play in the waterpark and other pools are apparently heated but i say they were freezing and not enjoyable at all.

Want More Stars

I wish there was more than five stars. We decided to go away for my husband birthday and he found Turtle Beach on google. Lets give it a try...

So with 7yr old ASD daughter and service dog off we went. OMG OMG this place is so good we have booked and paid to come back after Christmas for 6 nights. The two bed unit was amazing, clean, huge, well set out and well equipped. The DVD player did not work so they gave us a new one the very next day. Our daughter had an amazing time. Some things you have to purchase however they definitely were not expensive unlike other places we have been. The restaurant was amazing, family friendly and very reasonably priced. With so many pools scattered around the resort you did not feel over crowded. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff had no problems having the service dog with us. I am not really one to do reviews other than tell friends but I needed to write this one as they were amazing. Who knows we may even slip in another visit prior to Christmas.
