We stayed here for one night and was upgraded to a sea view room thankfully as the road view wasn’t so nice, the rooms were clean but basic maybe could do with a little updating but overall for the price it was acceptable, the breakfast buffet was ok it did the job, the pool area was nice, clean and welcoming
We spent 2 weeks there. Basic single room with 2 beds and balcony. We ended up skipping most breakfast mornings because it was the same...
Lunch and dinner was great though, but not a huge selection. Although the 2nd week we realised chicken and pork were being rotated, but was still nice. Can't fault the staff, and some of them have a good sense of humour. It's location is great for normal people, but my disabled partner found it very difficult getting around on a hired mobility scooter and the roads and pavements are quite bad.
We booked all inclusive (light as we found out later as love holidays.com did not describe it properly) it included buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was very worried about the stay and did not expect much as the price was low and some of the reviews not great. The hotel looks ok from outside, inside it is a bit out dated but clean and comfortable. We got a free upgrade to a seaview room on the top floor that was nice to wake up to in the mornings and pleasant to watch the sunset from a little balcony in the evenings...
The beds were comfy, the air conditioning worked well even if it took a while to heat up, the shower was powerful enough with plenty of hot water. Breakfast had hot and cold options. They do have bacon but it's nothing like we know it in uk. The coffee was not the best but their cyprus yogurt was amazing with a bit of honey drizzled over. The bread was also not the best and had to be toasted twice but we always found something to eat. Lunch was very basic mostly two meat options, some salads, apples, bananas, oranges and you could have either a soft drink or some beer or wine. Their beer was really good and house wines both good with white one excellent for our taste. Dinner was similar but more options and always something nice for dessert. The drinks were served at the table and included in the package. All the food was simple but well cooked and tasty. The bar was included from 12.30 till 23.00 and you could have wine, beer, local spirits which we did not try also coffee, 3 different teas and hot chocolate. They made really nice Cyprus coffee which was not included but well worth the two euros. The lobby bar also has a nice terrace with a sea view. All the staff were polite and friendly and for the price we paid we simply can not complain, its excellent value and great base to explore beautiful Cyprus. There is a bus stop outside the hotel but we rented a car and the hotel provided us with free parking. Paphos harbour, about 25mins walk or 5 mins drive is beautiful and with being out of season it was very relaxed snd calm but still plenty of places to go for dinner and live music on the weekend. There are some great restaurants around for a proper meze and the service was great in all of them. We preferred to go to the ones further from the harbour as they offered better value and more authentic Cypriot cuisine. All in all, loved the country and would like to see so much more of it, will be back shortly. Would not hesitate to stay at Agapinor again as it was more than we expected.
