Amazing, thoughtful hard working staff. Providing a top service in tough conditions due to staff shortages caused by covid. You would see the same staff working from early until very late in the day but all would give you the time too help you out should you need it Fantastic location and room. If ( when) we return to Cyprus we would definitely use this hotel again! Room 801 October 2021
We have recently returned from a wonderful 10 day vacation at this resort. Although the Corona virus has disrupted a lot of the Al a cart restaurants, the staff and management went above and beyond to make sure two of them stayed open. The buffet had an excellent selection of meals for the breakfast, lunch and evening dinner...
Most nights the buffet put on a theme night for the evening dinner. The staff at the buffet who gave us an excellent service were Nino, Katrina and Josephine although very busy Nino and her whole team kept it running smoothly. Our daytime was spent soaking up the sun on the Hotels man made sandy bit which had thatched umbrellas and a wonderful view of the sea. The pool bar server who looked after us was called Plamen, a friendly chatty guy who looked after everyone on this sandy bit. There is also a very sandy beach with some hotel beds on about 300 meters further along the seafront. The hotel had a very large pool area with a children’s pool and a separate adults only pool. Evening drinks were taken on the cocktail lounge outside patio where Valentino, Edita, Rosie and Niki worked tirelessly to keep your glasses filled and always made the time to have a friendly chat with you. Our room had a pool and sea view and a very large bed, the decor was very nicely decorated and was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping staff.
Overall an excellent vacation made very enjoyable by all the staffs hard work. We will definitely visit this hotel again.
This is a high quality, immaculately clean hotel providing an excellent service. As other reviewers have said the staff are amazing they work tirelessly to meet your every need and always have a smile on their face. We all know how tough times still are but the hotel really strives to give you a great holiday. Fabulous weather too! Room 233 October 21
we stayed at azia resort and spa for a week. flew out with a jet 2 package..overall a very nice resort with a few small fauts. the staff were very friendly and the room was nice...
buffet food was very tasty but often it was lukewarm which is annoying. food at the al la carte restaurants also very good. the resort didnt seem to have enough staff but were hit by covid which was fair enough. busy place with one big pool plus a seperate adults pool. nice walkway down by the beach to go for a nice long walk daytime or evenings. my worst gripe was the drinks were a bit rubbish could not find one cocktail we like. and the service at the pool bar was awful...you were better off waiting at your sunbed for one of the pool bar staff to come to you to take your order.
This is an absolutely great hotel to stay in. The staff are just brilliant. So friendly, cheerful and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and they took Covid safety seriously...
Face coverings were required in all indoor areas (unless eating or drinking) and gloves were provided and required at the buffet so nobody was directly handling food (a great idea which I hope continues after Covid)
Clean beach towels were available everyday by exchanging a card you get at check in or your dirty towel for a clean one. Not needing to pack a beach towel was a great bonus.
We were all inclusive and the drinks choice was great. All branded spirits (no cheap stuff) and generous measures. The cocktails were amazing too. The only criticism was they seemed a bit short staffed so service did take a while. We just learned to plan ahead and order plenty in advance!
The swim up pool bar was fantastic.
We were lucky in that the hotel wasn't too busy when we were there so sun loungers were plentiful and the pool was never too busy.
The snack bar was disappointing. Choice was poor and not very appetising. I'd recommend sticking to main meal times as you get far more choice.
Food in the buffet restaurant was very tasty (but some items could've been warmer)
We didn't get chance to dine in the a la carte restaurants as they were fully booked when we got around to trying to book a table (3 days before departure so our own fault really) Therefore I highly recommend booking a table as soon as you arrive. Planning ahead is key if you want variation.
The only other criticism would be some of the tables in the outdoor dining area were very poorly lit. You couldn't really see what you were eating so get down for dinner early and get a good spot.
All in all I would 100% return to this hotel.
One of my best holiday experiences
