Not four stars…

Review by marcocL8861DI Kent, United Kingdom

Swim up room. Rooms are tired. Food is ok quality but plates are cold and hot plates and heat lamps are not hot enough so food is tepid warm when served and cold within a few minutes...

If you like your drinks upgrade to a gold band for forty five euros for three days per person, you’ll get the branded drinks versus the local alcohol. Hotel aims at plus 16 and older customers but this is not a good mix for either groups, so boring for youngsters and noisy for the oldsters, it needs to decide which age ranges it’s aiming for. All employees are great. Booked last week in April day time temperatures 22 to 26 degrees Celsius with lots of sun, pool was fresh.

A luxury hotel at a great price

Review by thelordg999 London, United Kingdom

Stayed here in April, didn’t think it would be great for the price but I was well surprised. The hotel was amazing, food was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely clean rooms with WIFI, free toiletries, tea and coffee, amazingly comfy beds, all very modern...

Beautiful pool and a lovely beach too. The buffet was superb with lots of choice and some amazing restaurants that you can eat at all on complex. All day food and drinks available from the pool bar and the restaurant with snacks for the beach if that suits. If you are deciding where to book in Paphos, you certainly need not look any further than this hotel. I have stayed in many luxury hotels all around the world and this one certainly hits the mark for the price, go book it, you won’t regret it.

Amazing Trip!

Review by alexwills1993 Watford, United Kingdom

We visited at the beginning of April for 10 days and had a fantastic time. Every staff member had a smile on their face during our stay and the weather was very good fortunately. Bit of a shame that only 1 of the restaurants (other than the buffet) was open during our stay, but there was so much variety in the buffet restaurant each day it didn’t really matter...

The barman Kevin was also fantastic during our stay. Always up for having a chat, excellent at making cocktails and a real credit to the place. Would happily return again and would highly recommend.

Upgrade for the lounge access

Review by Liz D Izola, Slovenia

Nice but not quite the best. Location is great. Most staff is friendly and helpful, especially at the restaurants, bars and pool...

The registration desk, however, did not adequately explain things upon arrival nor fully answer my follow up questions. This really needs to be improved. As does the food, which is poor in selection and flavor. I recommend paying for the platinum all-inclusive with access to the 6th floor lounge. Access to this space and the upgraded drinks package is what puts my review up from 3 to 4 stars. If some small issues were addressed, this hotel could be a great choice. That said, if you get a cheap booking rate it is a fine place to stay for a few days all-inclusive in Pafos.

Good Hotel Overall

Review by kevinhZ6384YW Washington, United Kingdom

This is a very good hotel but has a couple of areas that need to be improved to earn our 5th star. We have just returned from a one week stay there. Our welcome into reception was very good and first impressions were equally good. Check in was smooth and efficient with all procedures explained. We were pleased to see that our special request for a room in a quiet area away from lifts had been met and we were at the end of the corridor on floor 5. The room was very clean and well equipped with a magnificent view over the sea and the pools...

Cleaning was carried out daily during our stay to a high standard. Pool Area - plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas well spaced out, easy access to pool bar, snack bar and toilets. Pool temperature was cool but I think gradually warming and it is still only April. We were disturbed by smokers on only one day out of 7 but we soon found alternative sunbeds. Dining - this is one area where improvement is needed as at times it could be chaotic, especially dinner. There is a good choice at all times but crowds are a problem with everyone moving in different directions. Breakfast was generally OK but we tended to go early. Lunch was better and we felt the food quality and choice here was better than dinner, again we tended to go early. Dinner was the problem with poor quality cuts of meat especially in the stew/casserole type meals. Grilled meat seemed much better. Speciality restaurants - only two were open and we only visited the Asian, food quality and service were both good. Lobby Bar - live entertainment every evening some much better than others but really it’s down to personal taste and it is better than nothing at all. The problem here is lack of seating on an evening for a hotel of this size. You are constantly playing ‘musical chairs’ looking for places where you felt more comfortable and could see more. The staff in this area however must be the hardest working in the whole hotel as they never stop - without exception. The staff throughout the whole hotel are hardworking and pleasant although one or two could do with improving their customer service skills. The walk along to the harbour on the beach path is pleasant and flat although takes about 40 minutes. The bus journey only takes about 10 minutes and is cheap at €1.50, buses are frequent but an be crowded. A walk along the main road is also pleasant and flat. We had a lovely week here but not sure if we would return mainly due to the food quality.
