Paphos

Situated between Paphos Harbour and Coral Bay, this family-run hotel is only 150 m away from the sandy beach. The village of Kissonerga with its archaeological sites, shops, bars and restaurants is just a short stroll away, Coral Bay 3 km. Paphos with its market, shopping and entertainment can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The international airports of Paphos and Larnaca are about 18 km and 130 km away, respectively.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

It’s all about the room .

Review by JoyA141 Linlithgow, United Kingdom

Arrived late for check in and they had made a sandwich for us which was really appreciated. I was so disappointed with the room though, it’s was clean enough but the balcony had no view and the door and a small window banged through the night and in the morning realised it was next to a really busy noisy road . Saying that all the areas of the hotel are really clean , the food in the restaurant varies so always something to eat , the bar staff are fantastic and very attentive ...

If we had a different room would have made all the difference.

Brilliant

Just come back from a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel!

First of all the view here is one of the best I have seen looking right over coral bay! The staff are so friendly and couldn’t do more for you and the rooms was very clean

Big thank you to olivia who always checked on us to see how our day was and done the music quiz witch we enjoyed and won a lovely cocktail 🍷 it really broke up the day for everyone!

The singers of an evening was brilliant especially Alexandra we look forward to coming back again soon!

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break away!

Hotel rating requires a serious review

Review by Emily D Cambridge, United Kingdom

We booked Theo Sunset Bay in Paphos for our friends wedding for 4 nights. We booked a Sea View room upgrade with Bed and Breakfast. When I booked the hotel it was rated a 4* it was only a few weeks after it was booked & paid for that I received an email to say that the hotel had been downgraded to a 3* and to my disappointment Jet2 did not offer any discount or refund or offer to book a different hotel...

On arrival all seemed well, the staff were very friendly. We checked in and went to our room, it was clean and tidy however when my boyfriend went out to the balcony to check out the ‘sea view’ he went to lean on the balcony railing and realised (luckily) that the railing was not secure and was a plastic tube tied into place. Highly dangerous on the second floor apartment. The room stuffy so tried to put the aircon on, no such luck. I am diabetic so I need to store my insulin in a fridge again, no such luck. There was a theme developing here, went to flush the toilet, yep you guessed it, no such luck. We then decide to head up to the restaurant as it as our first night we were tired from travelling. The buffet was average at best, nice salads but the meat looked questionable. Once we finished dinner we thought we might enjoy an after dinner drink. Ordered two cocktails we then decided to go back to the room to get some sleep, within 15 mins of being back in the room my boyfriend was being violently sick in the bathroom, which was made even more fun with a toilet that did not flush properly. We believe he was sick due to the cheap nonlabel alcohol that was used in the cocktails. The next morning got up for breakfast & headed to the buffet. To our disappointment the food looked even more grim than dinner. Grey beans, undercooked eggs, rock solid French toast I could go on. The following day we spent at the wedding and only slept at the hotel that night. After the wedding, it was at that point that we decided to check out a day/night early & booked a room at the Atlantis Mare which is a 2 min walk down the road. Best decision we made. I really believe the hotel has potential but right now it does not deserve the 3* rating & for the price you are not getting the value. Jet2 really need to consider which hotels you choose to work with as this was our first holiday we had booked with you & the service we had received from your staff was excellent, the holiday was simply not up to scratch & we feel we wasted a lot of money on a hotel that we could not enjoy..

Hotels Cyprus

Review by rjacko33 Wakefield, United Kingdom

The hotel is beautiful in a fabulous setting and the staff are amazing. A few upgrades are needed especially around the lower pool area also to the front facia . If you are looking for a base in paphos I could not recommend too highly but do not expect entertainment or a varied dining experience, whilst the food is okay it is not great .
