The hotel itself is great & beautiful. The staff who work there are all incredibly rude, ESPECIALLY to women but will fake smile to men who obviously have wives & kids. The staff are completely inconsiderate to pretty women, if you cant speak Greek expect the staff to give you dirty looks right in front of you. The female staff have the worst attitudes, get a grip & act your age instead of acting like a teen bully for gods sake you look embarrassing with your blatant jealousy.

NEVER AGAIN Metamorfosi Village Mare Resort! For several days I have been considering whether to even write a review of the hotel, whether it is worth this waste of time, but it is still normal for people to know where they are going to rest and what they are paying a lot of money for! For God's sake, people, do not go to this hotel and find a better and better place for your vacation! For this horror I paid 2233 euros with the resort fee! The hotel - built a long time ago, with an inexplicable category of 4 stars! Given the available quality, no more than 3 stars. It is located about 2 km from the village of Metamorfosi, in the middle of nowhere, near a swamp. No public infrastructure around the hotel, the road is asphalted, but it is extremely poorly maintained, very dirty and dusty, at times I wondered if there was asphalt at all. There are parking spaces next to the hotel and when you park, your car becomes useless from the dirt. We won't even talk about sidewalks for walking, you leave even if you survive, because there is quite a lot of car traffic. The hotel building stock is old and neglected, but what shocked me during the five days spent there was the unbearable smell of feces, especially in the evening. The pools - they looked dirty, a terribly strong smell of chlorine, which is an indicator of poor cleaning and maintenance. The hotel beach - SHOCKING! It is located about 200 meters from the hotel, on a dusty and dirt road, next to which there was even a killed snake. The beach is relatively small, very, very dirty and with stones in the water. And for that they charge you a fee of 5 euros for an umbrella and 2 sun loungers, regardless of the fact that you are a hotel guest! A 4-star hotel for which you paid a bag of money! Amazing, isn't it! The dirty water from the makeshift shower, attached to a tree, soaked into the sand about 5 meters from the first sun loungers. The rooms – HORRIBLE! We were in the so-called maisonette B, which is a room of about 18 square meters with 2 single beds and a second level with an internal wooden staircase with a bedroom, which had a separate bathroom, but no bathroom. The TV on the second level was as big as a car multimedia. Unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. In the bathroom on level 1 there was again a toilet, which has a lid, probably bought by Temu, I can't believe that in such a hotel the monoblock of the toilet can have such a lid that could not even be held in the right position. The sink was dirty and unmaintained, the sink faucet and shower too. Inexplicable why in a bathroom of about 4 square meters, there was a shower cabin of 85 square centimeters, bathing in which for people with larger dimensions is terrible. The entrance door and the windows to the terrace had certainly not been cleaned since they were installed. The TV cable was broken and simply attached to the socket and I had to seek assistance at 10 pm. There are no coffee cups or any amenities in the rooms, except for 4 water cups. Towels are changed every 3 days. The restaurant and the food – the food was relatively good, despite the small amount that was brought out and periodically supplemented and the presence of quite budget foods. What puzzled and offended me was the total lack of normal coffee at breakfast. You get your food, sit down and a member of staff walks by and asks for tea or coffee. I can’t say anything about the tea, I didn’t see it, but the coffee was shocking – some strange dark liquid resembling water from washed very dirty feet. Indescribable for a 4-star hotel. They pour you water that is filled from the tap and cooled in the refrigerator. They constantly check to see if you are taking food out and they are extremely annoying and come and steal used plates from under your nose before you have even swallowed, just so you can leave faster. I could write a lot, but there is no point. I really regret my choice, I trusted a colleague who had stayed at this hotel, but now the hotel is clearly not what they described to me. I am very disappointed and I am sorry! Never, never again!
