It's easy to see why Sliema has become Malta's premiere holiday destination, and why the Windsor Hotel has become one of its most popular places to stay. The Sliema coastline affords breathtaking views over the Mediterranean, as well as out to neighbouring Valetta. With wide open expanses of crystal clear water, it's a haven for snorkelers as well as sightseers.
Sliema is one of the island's most fashionable resorts and its famous promenade is its bustling heart, packed with restaurants, bars, shops and things to do. The Windsor Hotel is perfectly placed – you're just yards away from seafront or shops – making this the perfect venue for your Sliema adventure.
It's not just the prime location that attracts people to the Windsor Hotel, or the views. Guests also enjoy a superb range of amenities. The comfortable twin bedded rooms are all air-conditioned/heated and equipped with satellite TV, radio, direct dial phone and room safe (at a fee). Many rooms also have their own balcony an Wi-Fi is available in rooms at a fee.
There are plenty of treats on offer. Why not reward yourself with a health and beauty treatment, or take a dip in the indoor splash pool (heated Nov - Mar) or the outdoor pool.
At the end of another exhilarating day, take your time and enjoy a drink in the cocktail bar.
When you stay at the Windsor Hotel, you're right where you need to be; just 60 yards from the beautiful sea front, and only a few miles from the capital, Valetta. It's the perfect base for your island holiday.

I arrived at three in the morning and was greeted by Saviour who cheerfully offered me a drink which I gratefully accepted. He gave me a new room because of a mino problem in my allotted one. I met him on Many llater occasions and he was always concerned that I was being looked after well...
I could not have asked for more cheerful and considerate service from Saviour, and all of this was in the middle of the Corona virus when people were understandably stressed and worried. I will certainly return to the Windsor hotel.
Clean and good rooms. Very sweet staff and good service. Fine breakfast og fine coffee...
I will stay here next time i am in Sheilma. All in all a very good experience, and it is walking distance to the ferry and good restaurants.
Windsor Hotel deserves 5Stars:is a good&clean Hotel in a quite area, not far away from Valletta, near bus stop, clean,Continental Breakfast!Receptionist Saviour kind person with regards to the Clients!!
Stayed in the hotel for a couple of days from 10th to 14th of February, 2020. Excellent location not only for those wanting to explore Malta, but also for those who are looking for plenty of clubs and pubs nearby. I'd say that we traveled a lot and managed to cover around 75 percent of Malta's territory in only 4 days by using public transport...
This is a perfect location for those, who are thinking about traveling by bus - there are plenty of bus stops near the hotel, and it's very easy to reach all main tourist attractions. However, don't fool yourself with the distance - though it may seem short, a 10km bus-trip may sometimes take almost an hour. Talking about the hotel itself, I'd say it's 9 out of 10. Everything was nearly perfect, except breakfast and view from our balcony. The latter wasn't that big of a problem though, since we didn't spend much time inside. The room service was amazing - the room was cleaned and supplied with new towels and all the shower stuff every single day, even after the cleaning hours. The room itself was specious and comfortable. I'd like to exceptionally mention one member of the staff, Saviour. He was very helpful right from the start of our stay at the hotel, provided us with recommendations on what to visit, showed the best bus routes, local restaurants, etc. He even accompanied us on our first bus trip on the first day. Feeling very grateful to him. Overall, price/quality is amazing. I truly recommend this hotel for travelers, especially for those looking to travel off-season and/or by bus.
