Just returned from a week here with two girls aged 3 & 7. Hotel lovely Tuesday to Thursday but was invaded by massive amounts of rude and ignorant locals who don't queue for anything and have no manners and act like wild animals! The hotel was rammed with them spending there government vouchers!was glad to leave when we did....hotel staff don't tell them to queue either and always serve them first. Hotel in a good location with lots around and the hotel rooms are nice, wifi good, not all restaurants open and rammed with locals so it was like feeding time at the zoo! Wouldn't recommend this hotel as they need to look after tourists who have paid alot of money to visit Malta instead of putting dodgy locals first!
Generally enjoyed our stay, room was great and clean; staff were generally very helpful and friendly.Only downsides were that the infinity pool was closed during most of our stay and that the choice of restaurants for dinner was rather limited, because the salia and tagine only open on the weekend, and so we could only eat at the Gueliz on one of the days.
It's not the first time we chose your hotel for a mini break and it certainly won't be our last! Everything was spotless as staff were regularly cleaning public areas, food was great and well varied (a bonus for picky eaters), also a variety of cocktails and drinks where available throughout the day, a great addition to wonderful days spent at the pools. To top it all off, we got to see your show in the evening, very good entertainment! Kids loved it and if it wasn't for work commitments I would have definitely extended our stay!
Just back from 9 glorious days in Malta..We travelled as a family of 8 adults (girlfriends included) to this hotel. Loved the Affinity pool when it was open as other pools was noisy. Again disappointed several of the restaurants where closed don't understand as the Few that was opened was busy..The food was amazing great choice &selection for everyone..The buffet is now served by staf however could be better organised..I.e separate queues for starters and desserts...
Staff walking around when they could be utilised helping with drinks etc..Bar staff super friendly and loved the coffee shop. We personally found the front desk staff unfriendly abrupt at times but maybe due to being busy however feel they are the meet & greet perhaps a little more friendly with a smile would be good..Overall loved the hotel & realise they are doing a great job in these times..would come back if Affinity pool and other restaurants was open fulltime..
recently stayed at this hotel all inclusive for a week and although the hotel itself is beautiful it was very disappointing to say the least! With regards to all inclusive meals you are now served the food rather than help yourself buffets but they have adopted a book every meal time on a machine in the reception which was disastrous. The queue to use it was usually huge resulting in selectected meal times not available had to go out to eat far more than I should because of this issue, as it was very difficult getting reception staff to help as they were run off their feet with huge queues of day visitors and queues were over an hour long. The day visitors were a nightmare there was supposed to be social distancing but they let so many in it was impossible to use the hotel pools as they were full to the brim. Lunch times were a nightmare, that's if you could book a table as the day visitors converged as if they'd never been fed! Kids were running everywhere throughout the dining room and the noise was awful...
I do not recommend visiting this hotel unless you want stress and definitely do not expect an all inclusive service
