Filthy hotel.blood stains on towels and dead insects in room.this hotel is not sanitiser friendly at all.we felt very unsafe.no shower room for late check out.unsafe hotel.i have never stayed in such a horrendous hotel in my life.this hotel needs to be shut down before someone catches an infection.its dego not for families or couples.stag parties is all its fit for.
This hotel was our 1st time here, the check in was brilliant the staff on front desk were really nice and helpful A ++ for them.
The cleaning staff didn’t speak English and were very miserable, the room was of an ok state, bathroom was newly fitted with a lovely big walk in shower but the door was in a very bad state a wooden door and all the bottom was knocked out which left splinters of wood hanging off.
In the room there was a mini fridge BUT NO kettle, there was a safe in the room but when we went to reception to ask if we could use it they said it cost 3.50 euros per day to use it.
We are no party poopers and we do like music but when the music across the road is still going strong at 4.30am and people screaming and shouting is not a nice way to spend your holiday, most days I either walked around like a zombie or I slept during the day to catch up on sleep ( waste of holiday )
Then to top this off 7am just dropping off to sleep again I heard this bloody big roar I jumped up and thought what the hell os going on, I looked out of the window and the street cleaners were out with big blowers, everyday at 7am on the dot, sounded like a plane was coming down it was that loud
Sunday morning more revellers walking down the street at 6.30am screaming and shouting coming from a night club.
We went across the road for a few cocktails thought if we can’t beat them join them, after we came back to hotel on the way back some guy stopped us and asked if we wanted some hash we ignored him and carried on, we then sat on balcony watching everyone on the strip, followed by witnessing drunk fights and to our shock drug dealing on the strip.
Different nationalities selling to English who were drunk we video the deals taking place but then we realised it wasn’t cannabis they were selling but cocaine they put on there arm and snorted it rubbing there nose after, there were young children walking past with there parents looking and watching, the people who took it then was falling all over the place, the police went up twice in the whole night, this was going on every night, they stored them on the streets in electric boxes it was so shocking
The breakfast was ok nothing to shout out about, but I wouldn’t eat the English version scrambled eggs very runny, we opted for the Portuguese food which was there bread rolls with ham and cheese, Portuguese cakes then followed by fruit and yogurt
On breakfast you had to wear a mask and gloves which is very understandable but I found it was 1 rule for us and 1 rule for another, we got told off for not putting gloves on but there were others not wearing them
The pool and pool area was very clean.
All in all we wouldn’t stay here again, it was ok but after what we witnessed no thank you
If you going to Albufeira and you want peace don’t go to this place at night is a lot of noise from the bars outside and I was really disappointed with the rooms really poor luckily I spent most of my day time outside of the hotel. Although the pool is nice
Myself and husband stayed at this hotel for 1week 29th August .first impression not bad ,we had a helpful receptionist who checked us in quick and gave us room key even though it was on midday ,room not bad ,safe ,fridge although we didn't use it bathroom was quite impressive with lovely shower although no hairdryer on wall ,hotel a little dated needs a makeover next meals ,breakfast not too bad scrambled eggs bacon ,sausage mushroom's everyday including continental breakfast ,now dinner its the worst hotel we have stayed in for evening meal it was terrible we arnt fussy eaters but we struggled to find anything to eat the soup was cold every night for a week there was fish full of bones ,some sort of beef stew and some sort of mash with cabbage nothing was named so we didn't know what we were eating. Potato chips a couple of times and some sort of desert we hardly ate anything everyone was complaining then the pool we could not use for the first 5\ days it was filthy was there complaints yes will we stay here again no chance it is not a 3,star hotel but a lucky 2
I AM not a fussy person but I do have a limit and being sick because of dinner is it! Currently staying at this hotel half board and food makes you sick hotel old and dirty ONLY thing worth while is staff.
