Figueretas is situated on the southeast coast of the island. The resort is only small and is around a 15-minute walk to Ibiza Town. The resort attracts families and couples as it offers a more peaceful holiday with a range of things to do and places to eat.
Its central beach is bordered by a palm fringed promenade with a wide selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. Along the promenade there are artists and craft stalls which are worth a nose. For a larger beach, Playa d'en Bossa is easy to walk to and offers water sports and the longest stretch of sand on the whole island.
Excursions are easy to find in Figueretas, one of the most popular is a visit to the famous hippy market in Es Cana or a visit to the sister island Formentera to visit some Caribbean like beaches. Trips around the island are available by jeep, on foot or even boat. If you are not keen on travelling around on your holiday then that's fine, you don't have to leave Figueretas at all as there is a lot to do here.
