We stayed here the 16th July for 7 nights after bein relocated cus the original hotel we was stopping in in costa adeje wasnt opened......all was brilliant at first then it all went down hill. The rooms was amazin, bar staff ,kitchen staff, pool entertainment too was amazing. The food was rubbish you had to pick from 4 plates of food nothing for kids it was very basic I understand it's hard the with the times we are in at the moment but the size of the food hall cud of easily made a buffet services...
We ate out most nights as it was that bad. Then my daughter left her bag on the chair on a night an we went to room realised the next mornin went reception an got it bk to then realise her money had been taken out her purse so we asked to see the CCTV an had to wait for owner to show us that night we was sittin playin cards an the SECURITY GUARD came over to us with an envelope an said "I TOOK YOUR MONEY AN U SEEM LIKE NICE FAMILY SO I GIVE IT YOU BACK" we was fumin asked to speak to manager an surprise noone was available so we rang the poile they didn't wanna know either which is sad that u can feel unsafe leaving your bag/belongings while u go bar or anythin ruined our holiday. He was still working wen we left so just showed he must do it a number of times but wud it of been handed in if it was my purse worh 100s in I dont think so I will never now . It's not really a family hotel I dont think it was full of teenagers gettin drunk before hitting the strip girls bein sick out the front shouting on the landing setting off fire alarms Kidd playin ball in the pool when families tryin to swim had to dodge them I could go on writing stuff but I'll rum out of room . I have attached a picture of the Slguard that stole my daughters money incase u go so u can keep an eye out for the thief... a complainte to on the beach has been made too
~good location (close to beaches and shops) ~all of the staff are very friendly ~clean rooms and furniture in good condition ~great range of food at buffet :) ~clean and warm pools ~fun entertainment Overal I would 100% recommend this hotel... the only thing I’d say is there should be a better wifi connection in rooms
We stayed here from the dates 24th of December 2019 to around the 7th of January 2020 (2 weeks) I can say that it was a good hotel the only things that i wish could be improved is the food and during the day, at the main pools there was no sun! The two big buildings with the rooms on the side was blocking it, it was really disapointing, but other than that i can say that it was a great location and that i would stay here again. :)
I bought a holiday by Lastminute and should pay for the hotel on the place-$416.50. That price was pointed in all the documents and certificates. First they asked me £612, then they pushed me to pay £463 like I am on a poker game...
When I was shocked and rejected the price I was told: "Pay or go to another hotel". Not all the hotels were opened in that moment, they knew that and that's why they afforded to blackmailed me. So I paid £46.50 more for nothing. When you are choosing a hotel for your stay in Tenerife please be carefully and try to avoid KN Columbus at any price-strange place with inexplicable and highly unprofessional management. Nowadays in the Covid 19 situation with lack of tourists they should pray for customers instead of playing with them. It is a pity and very sad as well... I will forgive that robbery if they transfer the over-payment of £46 to any charity organisation. Please the manager who read this review to be kind enough to post a photo of that transfer.
The hotel was in a great location, very clean and the staff were fantastic but the holiday was spoilt because the food was diabolical. I understand that measures have to be put in place and the traditional all inclusive buffet is not acceptable, but there was only a choice of 4 preset meals which were often cold. There was also a limited choice of dessert...
Breakfast should have included cereals. There should be a full buffet served by staff to give a range of foods and guests could point to what they wanted. I would have given 4 stars if the food was edible and 5 if there was a better choice.
