Situated in a quiet residential area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the elegant, upmarket hotel is the epitome of class and luxury on the island. It his housed in a beautiful colonial-style building, only 50 metres from the García Sanabria Park. The old town, the city centre and the ferry port with connections to other islands and the Spanish mainland are within a short stroll. The fantastic hotel was renovated in 2011, offering rooms with the stylish décor of the 1940s and 50s, expertly blended with sophisticated, 21st century amenities. It surrounds an impressive courtyard of more than 8,000 m2 with lush gardens and a great pool area. Guests can indulge in total relaxation in the excellent, 2,000 m2 spa & wellness area, stay active in the fully-equipped fitness centre or just relish the delicious cuisine of the hotel's restaurant. Impeccable service, extraordinary facilities and a superb design combine to offer guests an unsurpassable experience. The establishment offers free transfer to Teresitas beach in Mencey. The service is from Monday to Friday.

Great location and lovely green areas on the outside but within the inside of this large hotel . Good swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and also Spa and Gym with a shared pool bar serving food and drinks from the spa. Parking next to hotel at €12 per day with separate underground entrance to hotel grounds...
Welcome by staff was superb and nothing was too much and young man explained and showed on map of where cultural areas were as well as bar areas and restaurant area. Big wedding on same day but had no impact on swimming spa or gym area and on staff service in patio bar Room was spacious and comfortable with good ensuite Excellent hotel and highly recommended and look forward to returning again for a longer city stay in future
Our stay was grand. Hotel room was clean and tidied in the morning. The breakfast was actually quite nice...
However, everything from check-in, to the room (seemed a bit sad), the shared facilities of gym, spa and pool, and the checkout didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. Worst was probably the pool and kids swimming lesson. You might want to tell guests at least when these are, so we can do our swim beforehand.
This establishment truly deserves 5*. Looking at the size of the hotel and number of restaurants it is astonishing that all works in sync. Hotel is clean, staff is professional and friendly, room was of decent size, no questions/problems went unanswered/solved...
Highly recommend this hotel
The hotel was great. The rooms are spacious, hotel is super clean throughout, the gym is awesome and well maintained. Also everything was disinfected after use so felt very safe during the pandemic...
The garden, pool and even the turtles are beautiful. We had a small inconvience at the room just before midnight which was resolved immediatly and properly. The service is great in general and everyone is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection and even lactose free and vegan options which is rare in Spain. Location is super as is the parking arrangement. Highly recommend this hotel, it was the best out of the 3 we stayed in at Tenerife.
We have stayed at this fabulous hotel many times now, and we were worried about recent reviews that it had changed for the worst / overrun with local schoolchildren learning to swim and members of the public taking over the gym.
In our case ( outside school holidays admittedly) the pool was lovely and quiet - busier at weekends - and admittedly a few swimming lessons in the smaller pool to the rear.
It’s a shame Covid has affected many businesses- several of our favourite local restaurants have closed - the hotels “Italian” Papa Negra restaurant was temporarily closed - with restricted openings on the pool restaurant and main bar - let’s hope things pick up as we start to travel again.
One of our earlier reviews of this hotel mentioned seeing Matt Damon in the bar with director Paul Greengrass and Julia Styles was in the pool every day whilst filming “Bourne”
This time we had 4 basketball teams playing the semi and finals locally - so there is always chance of bumping into celebrities!
The staff are always wonderful and junior managers making every attempt to chat and see how your day is going.
The hotel is always clean & tidy with the gardens pool and “turtle pool” constantly cleaned.
So close to the town centre if you fancy a shopping trip or walk to the architecturally outstanding auditorium - via the stunning park - parakeets flying overhead.
What can’t you like about this hotel ? A day by the pool with cocktails later ? Or a leisurely mooch around the lovely town? It has the best of both worlds.
We will be back and hope local businesses and the hotel continue to thrive snd expand again.
On our last day ( my birthday ) we had a special visitor land and help with my cake !! - not seen him before in a 14 day stay - he must have known it was my birthday !
