I visited this hotel in September 2019 / all inclusive . The hotel was clean although our bedding was only changed once in the 11 nights we were there and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned once . Meal times were terrible , queues a mile long , but once seated the waiter service was second to none ...
Not enough choice of English food , so mainly lived off salads . The swimming pool area was horrendous , not enough Sunbed’s for the guests . Free soft drinks during the day , but had to pay for ice cream or ice lollies . At night if you wanted an alcoholic drink that wasn’t Turkish , you had to pay for it . Met some lovely people there , but wouldn’t go again . Not value for money .
quick service on arrival. Room view was awful but was given a pool view room next day which was lovely. Spacious shower and bedroom although all of room needed updated and given a deep clean...
Food was delicious and plenty choice although often served warm instead of hot. Although all inclusive drinks options were minimum and I ended up drinking beer shandy for week rather than pay for cocktails and better quality drinks. Wine wasn’t that great. Tea/ coffee etc available all day. Pool was kept clean although smaller than you’d expect. Plenty sun beds but these were claimed with towels very early in the morning and sometimes not even used! Lost count of people coming back from somewhere later in the day and picking up towels without even lying on the bed!!!! Management need to remove towels from unused sun beds. Although a few flies at one end of pool no other bugs, thanks to the lovely, healthy cats moving around the hotel... I think. Although generally quiet the staff were pleasant and helpful. Although the manager was seen he didn’t interact with guests other than a good morning etc on passing. Good evening entertainment (didn’t last long) and bingo every night. Nice base. Out and about 15 minutes walk to beach. By paying for a drink you can sit / lounge on any beach and we both found this to be very relaxing. No hassle from shops other than them asking you to come and see what they are selling. Sellers were good humoured and excepted no. Go to dancing fountains 9-9:30 for an amazing show in the evening for free!
Just spent a week at Pasabey been coming to Turkey for 20+ years and to be honest there are better places to stay in Marmaris but as usual got the great Turkish welcome with the staff being polite and happy to help us in any way possible. I've noticed on other reviews of people complaining of staff being ignorant these people have been working since the end of April constantly 7 days a week by October they are willing for the season to finish so they can have a rest !!!! Any normal person would be grumpy if they have had to do that. That apart the food does need looking at as other people have said there is alot of Turkey / Chicken and the snack bar by the pool was Chips and nuggets every day ,this didn't really bother us as we were out eating alot of the time even though the hotel was all inclusive . The one thing that was Excellent was the spa in all the time we have been visiting Turkey this was by far the best well worth paying the extra money !!
Booked because it had 4.5 on here.
Out of the way on a Turkish council estate. Broken pavements littered with squashed fruit and flies swarming all over. Hotel lobby and dining areas in darkness to save on electricity. Has 4* rating more like -4* Staff ignorant and don’t speak. Turkey for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Yesterday’s uneaten food recycled for days. Uneaten afternoon buffet you see at dinner. Beer undrinkable and flat. Spirits so watered down it spoils the mixer. Wine completely undrinkable. Drinks served in small plastic cups that have bite marks in them. Some drinks chargeable at high price. Room safe is at extra cost. No drinks in mini fridge. This isn’t all inclusive at all. Entertainment dire, lasts 10 mins and is woeful. Chico, annoying and OTT Hassled for business from onsite shops. Calls for prayer begin at 6:30am which wakes the cockerel up which wakes you up. Rear of hotel overlooks a scrapyard. Phallic graffiti all over wallpaper in room. Beds uncomfortable and lumpy. Flies everywhere whilst trying to relax. 300tl for a late checkout (not paid) Pool slimy and needs a good clean. Wallpaper falling off all over hotel. Only one lift for 173 rooms.
Housekeeping staff pleasant. Towels were changed everyday. More pillows were supplied. Shower spacious and hot.
If you go on holiday to enjoy the cons in the above list. Then treat yourself to a week at the pasabey hotel...
This hotel is garbage and shouldn’t be on reputable companies lists such as TUI or Jet2 Trust me, stay somewhere else closer to town.
Have just returned from this hotel after a 2 week stay & would definitely not return! In fairness most of the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. That is about the only plus point to the hotel. Sinan who has the jewellery shop is particularly helpful & has some beautiful pieces of jewellery in his shop. Always a pleasure to chat to & do business with...
Now to the downside. Rooms were not terribly clean. So called clean towels were always stained. I had to ask on several occasions for the bedding to be changed. The beds are the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in - the floor wouldn't have been any worse! The fridge didn't work very well & didn't chill the bottles of water.
Food was mediocre & always cool, although it has to be noted the waiters were helpful & polite. While we were there dinner didn't start until 7-30pm, which is too late, especially for my partner & myself who are both diabetic.
Both my partner & myself had a hot stone massage (which we often have at home), but it left both of us in agony & we were nervous of availing of another one.
Entertainment only lasted about 15 - 20 minutes, although it was good while it lasted. Chico was fun & very friendly
I also have a commend the Jet2 rep who was very helpful & went out of his way to help us with trips etc.
This hotel most definitely is not a 4 star hotel, & we would definitely not recommend it or return again.
