The picture-perfect resort of Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is a 43-acre oval shaped coral island, covered with thick vegetation and surrounded by a ring of white sand. It has a lagoon ideal for watersports and is close to excellent diving and snorkelling areas. It's the perfect location for a holiday in paradise.
You'll feel a warm welcome from the moment you arrive at the magnificent Adaaran Select Meedhupparu. The beach will feature heavily on this holiday and it's so enduringly beautiful, you'll want to spend so much of your time there simply drinking in the view. If you fancy a little more energetic activity than working on that all-important holiday tan, then you'll find a selection of watersports available to keep you busy. For an underwater buzz, why not take a dive below the surface and explore? Just visit the dive school on site and they'll make sure you have the right equipment and some help if you need it. The island and hotel have been privileged with an amazing house reef, which clients have the opportunity to explore whilst taking up some snorkelling.
You'll feel very comfortable and well-looked after here too. Terraced rooms with partial sea view are air conditioned and all are equipped with a fan, minibar, safe, telephone, satellite television and tea/coffee maker. The best part is that the en suite facilities include indoor and outdoor showers. Taking a cool shower in golden sunshine – or even under a canopy of twinkling stars – has got to be one of the enduring pleasures of a holiday in this beach paradise.
Guests can choose from four individual restaurants, each with their own ambience and menu – and different views too of course. It's pretty hard to beat spending a relaxing evening taking time to savour a delicious meal and perhaps a glass of wine or two, with the waves lapping the beach and the warm breeze gently nudging the palm trees nearby. Just bliss.
Other facilities on site include four bars offering plenty of choice (Albino Bar offers over 100 different cocktails!), weekly entertainment, a small shopping arcade and a laundry service. One thing's for sure – you'll want for nothing at the Adaaran Select Meedhupparu.

We had a jetlag couples massage and foot massage with Sri and Berlin at Mandara Spa
It was so relaxing and an absolutely lovely experience We would throughly recommend this to anyone visiting Adaaran Meedhupparu
Everything just excellent! We had wonderful week here at adaaran. The hospitality of the staff here is exceptional. Everybody is smiling at you every time. You go through the island when you meet gardener working with chainsaw. He stops it greeting you with smile. You can really feel you are the guest. The food we liked every time. Accommodation may feel a bit older and worn out, but who cares when you're in paradise. If you are looking for highest luxury, look for another island. If you want to feel the touch of the paradise, go here !
This was our first trip to the Maldives and have to say it didn't completely live up to our expectations. We found the main restaurant so busy and not a pleasant experience so we used the Indian restaurant every night as it was quieter, staff were far more friendly and the food was fantastic. The cocktail bar Albino which had a menu of 101 cocktails was a disappointment as the cocktails were not made as they should be. We had a sunset villa and the mini bar was so disappointing as they only replenished the lager and soft drinks which I don't drink. The welcome guy said the welcome Prosecco would be replenished with wine so when we called the reception to ask for some they said we could buy it! Surely premium all inclusive should mean just that.
The dolphin cruise was lovely and so were the 2 al a carte meals. We wouldn’t return to this island.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu. The service was exceptional—our room was cleaned twice daily, with fresh water for drinking and foot washing, and the minibar was always restocked. Three staff members especially stood out: Chatshuska, who served us so attentively at the Café Mass à la carte restaurant, and Chathu, at the Thavaa à la carte restaurant. Both were always anticipating our needs, asking if we needed anything before we even had to request it. At Thavaa, we enjoyed a stunning five-course menu, and Chathu always made sure everything was perfect, checking in to see if we were happy. Chatshuska was equally attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. Pethum at the Sunset Bar also impressed us, crafting delicious cocktails with a perfect sunset view. We had great conversations with all three of them, learning about their lives and where they come from. The entire staff was always so friendly and helpful. We were truly sad when Pethum was reassigned on our last evening. We highly recommend this resort for its outstanding hospitality!
Nadun was the best waiter of Cafe Mass. Thank you very much.
