Dubrovnik

Depart London on your direct flight to Dubrovnik, where you will be greeted and transferred to your boat which is docked in the harbour for the night.

Dubrovnik to Korcula

From Dubrovnik, sail to the ancient town of Korcula with a relaxing stop en route to enjoy the glistening Adriatic Sea. Explore narrow walkways that border magnificent Renaissance palaces and discover the alleged birthplace of explorer Marco Polo. In the evening visit the main square of Pjaca to sample local delicacies including black risotto, a dish coloured with cuttlefish ink and savour fine Croatian wine produced from local posip grapes.

Korcula to Pucisca

After breakfast visit Korcula's historic sites including St. Marks Cathedral, which showcases local stonemason Marko Andrijic's magnificent craftsmanship. Depart late-morning to the costal city of Makarska to stroll along palm-shaded promenades that sit between the dramatic Mount Biokovo and tranquil Riviera waters. After lunch on board the ship journey to Pucisca, a picturesque town on the island of Brac, to admire its charming white-stoned Roman houses and the elegant domed tower of St. Jerome's Church. This evening dine at a quaint seafront restaurant of your choice.

Pucisca to Split

Depart after breakfast for Croatia's second largest city, Spilt, with a brief stop en route to the port town of Omis for a relaxing swim in the mouth of the Cetina River. In the afternoon visit the ancient old town, centred round the UNESCO World Heritage site of Diocletian's Palace, built by the ferocious Roman Emperor in the fourth century. Explore the rich mix of Roman and Medieval labyrinthine streets, full of cafes and boutiques, some of which are built into the ancient walls that surround the palace.

Split to Hvar

Depart Split for the verdant island of Hvar, stopping for a swim in one of its many secluded coves. Stroll the winding stone streets to Hvar Town's piazza; outlined with bars, shops and cafes this hub of activity is dominated by the Gothic Cathedral of St. Steven and it's elaborate seventeenth century bell tower. In the evening, explore Croatia's most romantic town to find a restaurant and sample produce from the islands ancient olive trees and exquisite vineyards.

Hvar to Mljet

This morning set sail for Mljet National Park to tour the scenic Veliko and Malo Jezero (large and small lake) that are encircled by a panoramic backdrop of woodlands unfolding over rolling hills. Visit the fascinating 12th century monastery atop a small landmass on the Veliko Jezero, a striking Romanesque feature that was gifted to the Benedictine order by the sympathetic Serbian Prince Desa. In the evening, dine with the captain at a fee or visit a local restaurant.

Your Meals

Breakfast and lunch each day will be served in the restaurant on the boat. Breakfast served on the boat is continental, and the lunch is a set three course meal. As there is a specialist chef on board, all dietary requirements and dislikes should be made known to our reservations staff at the time of booking.
A welcome dinner is provided on the boat for you on arrival. All other dinners after this are not included and you will have free time each evening where you can choose to sample one of the many restaurants in each city.

Visas

A visa is not required for your trip to Croatia. Further advice should be sought from the applicable tourist authority for other nationalities and for general queries. We strongly advise you check your destinations' Tourist Board or Embassy for the most up-to-date guidelines regarding passport validity.

Payment

If booking more than 10 weeks before departure a deposit of £250pp will need to be paid at the time of booking with the full amount payable at 10 weeks prior to departure. The deposit applies to adults and children. If you are within 10 weeks of travel then the full balance of the holiday will be payable.

Flight Information

All flights are operated by Norwegian Airlines. Each passenger is entitled to 20kg of hold luggage plus one item of hand luggage not exceeding 8kg in weight and 23cm x 40cm x 55cm in size. Flight times are for guidance only & subject to change.

Health and Vaccinations

It is your responsibility to check any health and vaccination requirements applicable to your booked arrangements. We can only provide general information about this. Health and hygiene facilities and disease risks vary from country to country. You should take health advice about your own needs as early as possible and in good time before your departure. Physical Accessibility

This tour is accessible to most people with an average level of fitness and normal mobility. It involves climbing of steep stairs and getting on and off boats. This tour is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Group Size

There is no minimum number of travellers for this extension however the main tour passenger numbers will apply for the main part of the tour. If in the unlikely event there are less than the required number of people booked on your main tour date then you may be asked to change to a different date. A full refund will be made available to you should this alternative not be suitable.

Tour Guide

An English speaking Tour Director will be on board your cruise with you for any queries that you may have, starting on day 1 in Dubrovnik ending back in Dubrovnik on day 8. They will not accompany you on land, this will be your free time to explore each city at leisure. Airport transfers will be with an English speaking driver.

Currency Information

The currency in Croatia is the Croatian Kuna (KN). We recommend that you exchange you currency before you leave the UK, however cash machines are available in all the major cities to withdraw money in the local currency.

Personal Expenses

You will need to take some extra money with you to cover any dinners where these are not mentioned on your itinerary and personal purchases, such as souvenirs, extra drinks, and snacks. Approximately £200-£300 per person should be sufficient for the duration of your tour. Should you wish to pay by card for any onboard purchases, please advise this at the beginning of your cruise. If this is not mentioned, then only payment by cash will be accepted.
