Following breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque North Zealand countryside for a visit to the moated Frederiksborg Castle, a splendid Renaissance capsule of lavish tapestries, gilded ceilings and an opulent chapel used for royal weddings. Following a stroll through Fredensborg's Romantically styled garden, tour the UNESCO recognised Kronborg Castle, famed for its literary association with Shakespeare's Hamlet. Return to Copenhagen for an afternoon at leisure.
This morning, journey by road across the Oresund Bridge, a gargantuan feat of engineering that seemingly emerges from the river before reaching Sweden. Following a tour of the country's 3rd largest city, sample culinary delights in Malmo's Lilla Torg, a medieval square which hosts a plethora of outdoor eateries. Later today catch the fast train to the Swedish capital of Stockholm where you will be transferred to your hotel.
Rising sharply out of the icy Baltic Sea, the 14 islands that make up one of Europe's most beautiful cities plays host to broad boulevards lined with pastel houses, charming park spaces and painted houseboats which reside along the cobbled waterfront. As you stroll through the elegant old town on your morning tour, pass Storkyrkan, the city's oldest building whose extravagant Gothic interior sets the stage for Sweden's royal weddings. Following a walk through the infamous Stortorget square, your tour concludes within the City Hall renowned for its grand ceremonial chambers and exquisite pieces of art. Depart this morning for a fascinating tour of the 10th century Sigtuna, Sweden's first town. Later proceed to Orebro to locate a restaurant of your choosing before crossing into Norway and arriving into the capital, Oslo.
After breakfast, enjoy splendid views from the Opera House's distinct sloping terrace across the fjord. Later continue to Bygdoy Island for a tour of the Viking Ship Museum, which displays two of the world's best-preserved Viking ships as well as a staggering collection of intricate crafts and tools from this intriguing era. Next, head to the Vigeland Park to marvel at a fascinating collection by Norwegian sculptor, Gustav Vigeland. Your tour concludes within the city centre where the remainder of today will be at leisure.
In the morning, transfer to the airport in Oslo for your return flight back to the UK.
Following breakfast, depart Oslo for a scenic train journey to Bergen. You will be transferred to your hotel, where the remainder of today will be at leisure to explore the town and beyond at your own pace.
Today has been left at leisure to continue your discovery of this picture-postcard community, visit a museum or embark on an optional excursion of the area.

Your flight to Copenhagen Airport is with Norwegian Air Shuttle (D8), departing from London Gatwick, South Terminal. Each passenger is entitled to 20kg of hold luggage plus 1 item of hand luggage not exceeding in size and 1 personal item such as a handbag, briefcase or laptop case. Weight restrictions will be finalised on E-ticket receipt. Should you wish to take additional luggage you will need to pay extra at check-in. Check-In should be at least 3 hours before departure. This tour is accessible to most people with an average level of fitness and normal mobility. It involves moderate days of walking on uneven paths and small hills, and getting on and off coaches. This tour is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
The minimum number of passengers on your tour will be 20, and the maximum number of passengers will be 35. If in the unlikely event your tour does not reach the minimum passenger numbers then you may be asked to change to a different date. The currency in Scandinavia is the Kroner, which is subject to each country visited. We recommend that you exchange you currency before you leave the UK, however cash machines are available in all the major cities to withdraw money in the local currency.
You will need to take some extra money with you to cover any dinners where these are not mentioned on your itinerary and personal purchases, such as souvenirs, extra drinks and snacks. Approximately £400-500 per person should be sufficient for the duration of your tour. Please also bear in mind that there will be several shopping opportunities throughout your tour. Tipping is customary, we would recommend approximately 8 EUR £7 per person per day. Tips are accepted in the local currency, however it is asked that if you do not tip in the local currency that you only pay with notes, as coins cannot be exchanged.
