Located on the southern coast of Lanzarote, Playa Blanca is a peaceful resort which makes it ideal for families and those looking for a relaxing getaway. The resort is bordered by 9km of beaches which are split into Playa Dorada, Playa Flamingo and Playa Blanca itself. Most of the resort’s attractions are found along the Playa Blanca boardwalk which is adjacent to the old town. Nearby is some of Lanzarote’s most spectacular scenery including the Timanfaya National Park, Janubio Salt flats and El Golfo (Green Lagoon) which are all worth a visit. You can also visit the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura via a 30 minute ferry which departs from Playa Blanca.
