Situated on the northwest coast of the African continent, Morocco is divided into three distinctive weather sections: a Mediterranean climate along the coast, cooler temperatures within the interior region and desert-like conditions towards the southern fringe. During the summer months, temperatures across the country easily reach 30°C, but generally hover around 25°C. Winter sees pleasant highs of 17°C with night-time rarely seeing anything lower than 10°C. During the autumn and winter months, coastal areas can experience heavy rainfall, however due to the desert nature of Morocco, the quantity of rain is never substantial and overall the destination is a safe bet for gloriously sunny conditions.
