We loved this hotel. We were lucky to be given a ground floor room near the pool which was so convenient with children who always forget things! The view from the pool and room was stunning - overlooking the bay. The sea water was so clear...
I went snorkeling with my 10 year old and within seconds of putting our faces underwater we had seen fish and coral on the rocks. The staff at the restaurant (special mention to Andrea) were fabulous. So friendly with the children and treated us like old friends by day 2. The guy who runs the pool bar was lovely too. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this place for a reasonably priced holiday for families with young kids.
We stayed here and had the best holiday. All the rooms had a sea and pool view. We were on the 1 floor and right in the middle of the pool looking over it down to the beach and sea...
The pool area had lots of sun loungers and we didn't have trouble getting one if you went down about 8am, the pool was great for kids and adults. The beach was great you could pay for a sun lounger for €7.50 for 2 sun beds and umbrella but we went to one of the shops and just brought our own umbrella for €8 and used that on the beach. The restaurant was great very friendly staff and food was great. The town was fairly small but had enough restaurants and pubs for us. We spent most evenings at the windmill pub witch was the busiest. We got the bus to Ayia Napa 20 minutes and was very cheap and bus had air con and driver shouted at each stop to help people. The hotel had a nice little walk along the side of the beach to the little church which you could go in. All in all I would highly recommend the hotel especially for family's, but for younger people who want to be out all night then you should go to Ayia Napa.
We are on our last night here and are tired! The rooms, the site and the staff are perfect, couldnt ask for more...except more considerate neighbours. The next hotel holds wedding receptions practically daily and the music is very loud. It is turned right down or off at midnight but if its every night its too much. (we had at least 4 nights of this in a week) We then got woken up at 4am twice in a week by the the private villa residents with more noise...loud music, shouting and people being rowdy...
So we were getting about 3.5 hours sleep on more then one occasion. I appreciate this is not Myro Androus fault but we needed a restful holiday and it definitely was not. We went out and bought ear plugs and I shall be using them, just wish Id had them sooner. 10 out of 10 to the hotel itself on every aspect. If you dont mind noise its a brilliant venue, fab pool, extremely clean and well looked after. Saddened because we came back a second time because of the peaceful and calm environment.
We had a pleasant stay in early July 2019. We had a 15 month child and the location, the apartment and the facilities in the apartment provided were very good. A very good cod was provided and cleaner made visits every day. Unfortunately though we paid for a half board but we had to go out and eat three out of the four nights because the food was unacceptable...
Obviously left overs from previous night cooked again the one night and poor spaghetti called "Italian night".
The apartment was just like in the pictures. All rooms have a sea view. Nothing to complaint about.
Close to the beach, restaurant, supermarkets and shops.
No pool towels...
You have to bring your own.
Very strong wi-fi signal.
Very good AC (1 in the bedroom and 1 in living room).
Sun chairs at the pool for free. At the beach you have to pay (even if you are a hotel guest).
Best restaurant in Pernera: La cultura del gusto. Excellent food, always with lots of people. I recommend that you do a booking. We had “tagliatelle beef gorgonzola” and it was extremelly good. Even if the restaurant is fancier that the other ones in Pernera the prices are only around 2 Euros more expensives.
Hotel staff: Spiros at the restaurant was very nice and Rachel at the reception as well.
There is a beach walk to Protaras. We did it and it was very nice. You don’t have to walk on the sand. There is a bus for the way back to the hotel. Or you can use the bus for both ways.
In Protaras “center” I found a very nice gift/jewelry shop: Olive Wood.
If you want late check-out you have to pay. 20 Euros or 40 Euros depending how late you want to check-out.
If you have a late flight: keep your bathroom towel, so you can use it after spending the day on the beach. They have showers for the checked-out guests to use.
