Good location 10 mins walk from Puerto Banus with lovely restaurants many overlooking the harbour. Also few mins walk from the beach with restaurants on the beach. Biked the other way for approx 40 mins into Marbella and beyond, bikes organised via hotel...
Recommend. Hotel is nice, good breakfast. Rooms are decent size, clean and modern, bathrooms ok. 2 outdoor pools, - not heated. Plenty loungers and pool bars with good choice and reasonable. Gym ok, indoor pool area but grotty. Had a few issues which took time to resolve, but overall enjoyed. Probably a bit overpriced, maybe paying for the location.
Stayed here recently for a short break with friends. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well equipped...
My only issue was the fact there were never any cups in the room to make drinks. A kettle is provided with items for hot beverages but no cups provided. The breakfast is a buffet style with good selection and would cater for most people's needs. Short walk to the harbour.
Just returned from meliá, puerto banus. Stayed for nearly 3 weeks. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, so convenient for the port (under 20 minute walk along the seafront) lots of restaurants, bars, shops close by...
Catamaran trip to Marbella town every hour. All very good and makes for a really great holiday here! Can wait to go back again!
We were very unhappy when we arrived to the Melia finding our room was at the very end of a grotty corridor with plastic carpet, you already know what the room will be like when you step out the lift into the manky corridor! The room overlooked a derelict pool, the bed was broken, the shower spat at you with zero pressure no way could I have washed my hair…we were so disappointed! The hotel could not move our room so we moved hotels and had a lovely time in old Marbella on the coast instead. We paid extra to be in the adults only section of the Melia which was not worth it, it’s basically the poor relation to the rest of the hotel with poor service & tiny pool. Still trying to get money back on the room the nights we did not stay, hotel being very unhelpful to our travel agent whom 2 weeks on is still arguing this case...
This hotel is not a lovely family/couples type hotel it is a hen/stag doo type hotel. Would not recommend!
Although the building is a bit older, the hotel overall is really nice. Rooms are spacious, renovated and spotless clean! Staff is very friendly in all areas of the hotel . Location is good, next to the beach and the Banus port. We booked a Level room, which was definitely recommandatie because the standard breakfast are is really full and loud (but food is good) The only minor part - rooms don’t really have frontal sea view (even though it was sold as such) and the outside of the hotel looks a bit old
