Absolutely amazing hotel and staff. They went above and beyond for our son Joseph who has several food allergies. The chef Mustafa took him under his wing and ensured he had everything he wanted to eat in the safest of environments. The hotel itself is magnificent. No need to worry about sunbeds as there's more than enough for everyone. Pool area is huge and the water park is brilliant for all ages. The funfair is also a great place to go after dinner but the majik ride should come with a warning as its tooo fast!!!! So much to do!!
Very good hotel, staff are hard working and always looking to help or make sure you have what need. Always cleaning. Pool area is great although alot of people staying at hotel never felt overcrowded. Use of hotel towel card system is great. Water park is top quality and the luna park provides great fun for kids for the evening, with staff been freindly and helpful. The food was very good with wide range to choose from. We used the 3 included alcarte meals which were all very nice and to a high standard. The rooms was big and what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. Also the oil shop staff were great and always took time to spend time chatting and my daughter loved spending time there chatting and smelling the products. Overall a brilliant hotel and staff and would be a brilliant choice for any family who wants sun & great family freindly hotel with lots to do & great service.
You canβt fault this hotel, itβs got something for everybody food is a bit repetitive but honestly they go above and beyond to make sure you eat. Everything is clean and rooms are comfortable and the aqua park is by far the most fun! All the staff are the kindest people you will meet here!
Stayed here recently for 14 nights. My first impression - fab looking hotel, very clean and greeted with a drink on arrival. Felt almost VIP. We had a 2 bedroom family room. Plenty of space and clean. Free safe to use, which was handy. Our cleaner Kareem was very pleasant and friendly. He always cleaned our room everyday. The air con worked fine for us. The only complaint is that the plug didn't work great in the sink - but that is a very minor issue. There were free toiletries and coffee making facilities.
We had towel cards to change our pool towels everyday. No problem with getting a sunbed so no major rush in the morning, which made the holiday relaxing. Lifeguards are hands on and friendly. There were lots of pools to choose from which meant none felt over crowded.
Having more than 1 snack bar was great and one was always close by where ever pool we sat by.
Plenty of shops on site and including the sister hotel.
Lots of activities during the day but it was too hot to participate so we mainly had pool days. We had a few outings out to explore.
Generally speaking 95% of the staff are very professional and do their job very well.
I was told that tipping was normal in Egypt. So of course we did lots of tipping. Buffet restaurant we tipped every meal. I did find once you tipped they rarely came back to ask if you wanted another one (not all but most). It was nice to have my drink brought to me, but towards the end I got them myself as they all work so hard and im more than capable. There was a super grumpy bar man who did not make you feel welcome. He rotated between the lobby and snack bar. I even walked to the other snack bar as I couldn't stand how rude he was.
The groundsmen worked very hard. Working in these temperatures was uncomfortable for me to watch. To learn they cannot have drink breaks broke my heart. When I offered them some water - they drunk it so fast - they were obviously so thirsty. There was an elderly gentleman gardener who looks like he should be retired - he reminded me of my Grandad. I couldnt let him go without a drink. Poor bugger.
The sales people (who i know are not part of the hotel) are RELENTLESS and I mean I couldn't have a conversation with my own family without being interrupted every 2 minutes. Some turned bitterly cold when told no. Even one "man" was verbally abusive towards me. I was on my own at the time as my husband went on a trip with my son so he must have thought he could get away with it! Another thing i found is that women are treated like second class citizens - the amount of times I was ignored but men were served before me...wow. Anyway, we were offered VIP bands for the altercation with the awful sales "man". It was a nice gesture but by then I was ready to go home.
My kids bought snacks from the shop without price tags and were ripped off. I didnt send them again and it didnt happen again as me or my husband got them ourselves.
1 shop owner made very INAPPROPRIATE comments towards my TWO year old daughter. Something you would be arrested for in the UK. Made me sick to my stomach.
Sim sim was the only lovely sales man who still had a little conversation with you after a trip. He respects the guests even if they say no. Great customer service unlike others.
Captain Abdo - lovely man - wanted to adopt him β€οΈ.
The fairground rides were a good addition to the hotel. I think it only being free for 1 hour every night was a negative though.
This is the first hotel where ive spent more time talking to the workers rather than other hotel guests π
I could go on and on. Overall - The hotel grounds are lovely. Although the tennis courts could do with some TLC ASAP... Food is edible and we never went hungry. Plenty of trips to take etc.
What spoilt it for me was how I was treated by staff and constantly being hassled. Had I known about the do not disturb sign at the beginning - maybe my experience would have been different? I have found some people not being very genuine and are so rude if you do not buy with them. I think if you're a man / boy then you will have no trouble.
I had a wonderful stay at Serenity Alma Hotel in Hurghada with my girlfriend and her family. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel and had a really enjoyable holiday.
The location was great and made it easy to enjoy everything the hotel and surrounding area had to offer. The atmosphere was one of our favorite things about the hotel β it was welcoming, relaxing and enjoyable throughout our stay.
Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more pleasant. We also felt that the hotel offered very good value for money, especially considering the facilities and services available.
Cleanliness was also very good. The hotel and common areas were well looked after, and we always felt comfortable. The noise level was generally pleasant, so we could enjoy both the lively atmosphere and relaxing moments.
The service was friendly and helpful, and the staff made us feel welcome. The hotel also had good amenities and facilities, which gave us plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy our time there.
The animation team was a nice extra during our stay. Sami Khaled was particularly funny, entertaining and friendly, and his positive energy made the activities even more enjoyable.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Serenity Alma Hotel and created some great memories with my girlfriend and her family. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back again! βοΈπ΄
