Having recently stayed at the Sunrise Tucana I feel I must share our experience. Originally booked to stayed at the Royal Makadi, we were upgraded on arrival to the Tucana and we couldn't thank them enough! The hotel, rooms and grounds are spotless. So much choice of things to do, places to eat and drink and the quality of food is outstanding!
Every member of staff, from the entertainment team to maintenance & gardens will always greet you with a smile and welcome and are incredibly hardworking.
A special thanks must go to Mohammed our waiter in Lucina, such a genuinely lovely man, always looked after us and so professional - a credit to the resort, Mo who was housekeeper in block 30, always greeted us with a save & smile and kept our room spotless, Mahmood at the Island bar works tirelessly to keep drinks flowing (& people hydrated!!!) & also Mina- who has a very important job keeping the resort stocked with drink! and has shared love of good whiskey with my husband.
Anyone considering booking the Tucana- do it! We will definitely return asap and can't wait to be "welcomed home" again!

Our stay at Sunrise Tucana Resort was a wonderful experience. The location on Makadi Bay is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere and lovely surroundings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The main restaurant offered a good variety of delicious food, with friendly service and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return!
My wife and I had the most amazing stay, from we arrived we felt at 'home' We stayed in a swimup room in Posh club Youssef was our butler for our stay, he made the trip unforgettable, he's amazing, looked after our every need, booked all our restaurants, he couldn't do enough for us and I class him as a friend today! The food and drinks were top class, we couldn't have wished for a better holiday, Mohammad kept our room immaculate, really nice guy too, Denzel was also a memorable guy too, we will deffo return to Tucana
Atmosphere & Grounds Impeccably clean, beautifully landscaped, and designed for total relaxation. The layout makes navigating the resort effortless whether heading to the pool or the beach. rooms also was great they clean it everyday animtion also is good
I stayed at Sunrise Tucana with my family recently, and honestly, we had a really great time.
Everything was better than we expected — the food, rooms, restaurants, bars, animation, parties, and especially the staff. Everyone was friendly, smiling, and always willing to help. You can really feel that the staff care about the guests and want you to enjoy your holiday.

At Reception, a big thank you to Mr. Mahmoud Samir, Mr. Islam, Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Mahmoud for always being helpful and welcoming.
At Lucina Restaurant, thank you to Mr. Rabea, Mr. Samer, Mr. Abdelrahman, Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Mohamed, Mr. Mostafa, Mr. Mahmoud and Ms. Warda. And a special mention for Mr. Mahrous — always smiling and honestly one of the nicest people we met during our stay.
The team at Yadis Restaurant were also great. Thank you all for the excellent service.
At Gaia Restaurant, thank you so much to the team for helping us celebrate my daughter’s and my wife’s birthdays. You made the dinner really special for us.

The Animation Team were also fantastic. Mido, Tito, Hazem and JoJo — thank you guys for all the energy and fun. We attended Bedouin Night, Pink Party, Boho Party and Latin Night, and we really enjoyed every single one. The parties were different, well organized and a lot of fun.
Also, thank you to everyone at Yadis Bar, Anjoum Bar and Gitano Bar for the great service.
And of course, thank you to Mokhtar from Room Service for always taking care of everything.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable family holiday. We felt comfortable, welcomed and looked after throughout our stay.
