The hotel is generally good with nice facilities and a good atmosphere, but the entertainment team was disappointing. They were too pushy, overly familiar, and sometimes too touchy, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. The animation was more annoying than enjoyable. The hotel should improve the professionalism of the entertainment staff

My score reflects my experience of the hotel and reception and cleaning services and shops.

I booked this holiday though love holidays i have never used them before so thought I'd give it ago.

3 months before I left for the holiday I found out by reading reviews there were major restoration works going on at the hotel so I contacted love holidays to see when work would be completed they said by the 30th May 2026 I was going on the 5th June 2026 so happy days a nice new restored hotel....... How wrong was I!!!!! We got to the hotel late at night so couldn't really get a angle on things until the morning but there was a massive wooden wall outside main reception. Went to book in given key and towel cards no directions to where our room was so went for a walk and managed to find it half hour later. Went to set up wifi but no password on the welcome pack if that's what you call it was just the little paper envelope with your cards in so back up to reception to ask and they pointed at the password on the counter why they didn't show me before I went to my room who knows!

The next morning we woke up to banging and disc cutters looked outside a see a building site the hotel was and is far from done.

Lots of trip Hazzards wires all over the floors bare electric wires poking out though ducting lots of unfinished surfaces on the floors kids pool not in use as all work going on around it the noise was horrendous. Pool is not filtering properly as water level is to low so didn't use that at all tiles look dirty in the pool also. We used the beach everyday due to hotel complex being unusable. Beach is busy and packed in like sardines as people do like to barricade the front so it's difficult to get to the Sea but once you get to the water that is absolutely stunning crystal clear and has a underwater ruins manmade you can snorkel around with so many fish. There are many dangerous fish in there also so be vigilant boxfish pufferfish barracuda houndfish blue ringed rays that sort of thing. I do think they should have warning boards up letting you know what is in there as some of these can be fatal.

The beach staff were great always up for a chat with you. The drinks are constantly brought to you which is nice abdulhak was a great hard working young man with amazing people skills a great credit to the hotel management could learn a lot off this young man he is there for the people. The hotel has 4 a la carte restaurants Grill-rubbish Mongolian -Amazing Mexican -very good Italian -Amazing Main restaurant-breakfast and dinner Absolutely minging don't waste your time with main restaurant it's all cold and not a great option there see the a la carte managers and slip them some cash and you can use them as you only get to use them once in 11 days Grill is just a few tables on a strip of sand between the Italian and the ice cream building you pick some rather rough looking meat and you get to cook it yourself! Took us ages to find it as the picture on the app shows a fully functional restaurant so very misleading. Mongolian was amazing you chose what you want and chef cooks it for you really tasty and very clean. Mexican is very good but the only problem I had was they rush you half way through the starter they bring the main out so starts going cold. Italian was beautiful good food good service and a nice clean area chef is really amazing chef too food looks restaurant quality. That's as far as the good bits go really. I went back to my room at about 4pm one afternoon to get something and when I walked in there were two men standing there I had to double check I was in the right room! I asked what are you doing in here they said we are taking the single bed i said why how do you know I don't need it did you ring or come and find me first the answer was a no! Now I didn't need the bed but the point is you can't just come into my room when you feel like it a take stuff I could have been on holiday with a family member they don't know so I kicked them out and went to reception they shrugged it off so got hold of love holidays and managed to get a meeting with the reception manager about it was offered a free spa but declined as that's not a bit of me I was happy with an apology love holidays also gave me a £223 refund due to the noise and work going on.

The shops next to the spa which are owned by the hotel but rented out at the front of the hotel some are good some are bad.

The bag man is brilliant gives you a great deal and doesn't rip you off very good fair prices.

The shop where you by soaps and spices again very good fair prices and a really nice man.

T-shirt shop avoid this place I had picked 4 t-shirts and a football kit for my grandsons agreed a price of £35 GBP he put it in his card reader in Egyptian but was over charging me by £5 I said its the wrong price and I showed him on the live exchange rate he kept saying I was wrong after about 10 minutes I said don't worry I will go somewhere else and left the shop he came out and grabbed my arm hard and wouldn't let go I said on 3 occasions to let go he wouldn't so I yanked my arm away and had to shout don't touch me. He went back into his shop.

The convenience shop for food next door is a rip off again 2 pots of Pringles two bottles of pop a pack of biscuits and a tiny gift he added more money when I got distracted I checked my bank when I got back £49 they charged me and wouldn't give me a refund so swerve that shop!!!!

After the T-shirt incident we walked back to the room I said I'm just going to the little shop next to crazy fruits to get a bottle of Pepsi I was still quiet angry at the time. I got there and the man kept saying come in come in I said I'm not interested I just want a bottle of drink he was so close to my face I could smell his breath I said back off and go away I just want a drink then he tried to sell me cannabis which really put my back up I pushed him away and told him to go away in different wording!!!! I ended up walking 10 minutes up the road to another shop which was fixed prices and really fair prices go there if you need to get anything it's just passed the pharmacy.

I reported these incidents to the hotel management which called me up for another meeting they apologized and again offered me a spa I said I'm not interested this is a 5* hotel and this shouldn't happen getting grabbed getting offered drugs it's awful kids are about and if they see what happened or see drugs laying about and ate some it's a big problem they said leave it with us and we will give you a outcome in 1:30 hrs I never heard back what happened.

So my own personal experience at this hotel was not a great one but these are based on my own experiences and opinion on this hotel

In its current situation I would not be placing this as a 5 * it's and very loose 3* at a push.

Reception needs to work on their people skills and tell you information on arrival.

Bar staff waiting staff restaurant staff lifeguards and towel shack staff are a absolute credit hard working and a pleasure to talk too.

I won't be coming back to the pyrisima hotel or using their brand again really disappointed.
