Sheraton Sharm Hotel

This was our first trip to Egypt, and we chose Sheraton Sharm Resort. We stayed there with my wife from June 23 to July 1, 2026, and we were very happy with the hotel. In terms of value for money, it exceeded our expectations. We paid €1,800 for a 7-day stay.

We arrived at the hotel at around 11:00 a.m. and were checked in immediately. Our room was on the second floor with a beautiful sea view. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that all rooms have a sea view. The rooms are spacious, and the mattresses are comfortably firm, which we really liked.

Most of the staff were friendly, kind, and always willing to help with any request. Our housekeeper on the second floor, Muhamed Mustafa, did an outstanding job—definitely a 5 out of 5! A special thank you to him because it was my wife's birthday during our stay. He was the only person who managed to find birthday balloons. I had looked for them in the hotel shop, where they didn't have any, and I also asked at the reception and even the florist where I ordered flowers, but everyone told me it wasn't possible. Somehow, Muhamed Mustafa managed to get them, and we are truly grateful for that.

As for the food, the selection wasn't huge, but we were never hungry. There were always 2–3 choices of side dishes, 2–3 meat options, plenty of salads, and delicious cakes and pastries.

Among the waiters, we would especially like to mention Abdul Nasir Muhamed. He always greeted us with a smile and made our meals even more enjoyable by bringing our drinks very quickly.

Another highlight was the massage at Golden Spa. The service was excellent. My massage was done by Ibragim, while my wife had hers from Mira (or possibly Nira—I can't remember her name exactly). My wife absolutely loved her massage.

I can't say much about the alcoholic drinks because I mostly drank beer, while my wife had the Sheraton Punch a couple of times, which she really enjoyed. Most of the time, we drank sparkling mineral water or Sprite. I do know that imported alcoholic drinks were available for an extra charge, as were ice cream and fresh watermelon cocktails. We didn't ask about the prices because we weren't interested. The only extra we paid was a $2 tip to the bartender when we got some ice cream.

As for the downsides, there isn't much for children to do. There are no water slides, and the hotel is more suited for people looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation rather than lots of activities. The animation team organized stretching sessions and water aerobics, and I also heard them inviting guests to play volleyball. For children, I only saw a couple of pool activities with cartoon characters and one foam party during our stay.

Another minor downside is that the beach staff can be a bit persistent when offering excursions, diving trips, massages, or photo shoots. However, once you book something like diving or a massage, they treat you like a friend for the rest of your stay. Just be careful with the prices—always negotiate and decide for yourself what you're willing to pay.

Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel. It is especially suitable for people who simply want to relax, sunbathe, swim, and enjoy a peaceful vacation.

If we have the chance to visit Egypt again without our child, we would definitely return to this hotel. However, if we travel with our child, we would probably choose a different hotel with more family-oriented activities.

We have just spent a week at this lovely hotel. Rooms and hotel are spotlessly clean, Ahmed our room cleaner was amazing 🤩 he did a fantastic job and was always happy. Rooms are big, as someone else wrote, I don’t feel the rooms are dated, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are big, great air-con and the bathroom are large, so were the balconies. Amazing views from the balcony and I did watch dolphins from the apartment. The hotel can be a bit of a maze (I got lost 🤣) but once you get your bearings it’s very easy to find your way around. There is a theatre in the reception area, it wasn’t used which was a shame as it looks amazing, you can go and sit there if you like. Restaurant was great, what you’d expect from an all inclusive, you can buy food if you don’t like what’s on offer at a reasonable price. Pool was a nice size, they are adding a new pool which will be ready in a few months and it looks great. Staff here are lovely and helpful, I honestly can’t fault it. There is a spa, beauty room and some shops which sell bags, jewellery and snacks etc. There is a cash machine, but you can only take out 4000 Egyptian pound at a time, you can also exchange cash in the machine. Me and my granddaughter did a trip with the dive centre, it was amazing seeing all the coral and fish, we even saw a beluga ( I think that’s what they said 🫣) when we went looking for dolphins. Download the I-direct app and order your taxis from there as it so much cheaper, (200 EP) to Soho square. The beach is again spotless, there is a beach bar but the sea only has a small section of water that you can sit in but you can go to the end of the pier snorkel and swim in a set area due to the protection of the coral. Water is crystal clear and such an amazing colour. I will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel 😁

I had an amazing stay at the Sheraton Hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived until I checked out.

The housekeeping team did an outstanding job. The rooms were always spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, with a great variety of delicious food. A special thanks to Chef Mohamed , whose professionalism, kindness, and exceptional dishes made every meal memorable.

The lobby bar staff were friendly, ASpecial thanks to mr ismail and mr mohamed ramadan attentive, and always served drinks with a smile. The beach was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, while the swimming pools were well-maintained and perfect for both adults and children.

Most importantly, every member of the staff was incredibly welcoming, respectful, and helpful. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay.

Thank you to the entire Sheraton team for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return again!
