Before I get to the positives, I would like to mention a few negatives, which is why I am giving only 4 stars. First and most importantly, this is quite an expensive holiday. The outdoor areas of the hotel are truly 5-star, but the room is at most 4-star, and I have seen better bathrooms even in 3-star hotels. It is in serious need of renovation, although based on Google photos, some rooms have already been updated. In our case, room 1140 had not yet been renovated. The main restaurant serves tasty food, but the selection is also more in line with a 4-star hotel. We checked in at 1 AM, and there was no electricity. I reported it at reception in the morning. I did not expect it to be fixed immediately, but I had to go back twice to remind them, and once to speak with the cleaning manager. It took 3.5 hours before we finally had electricity so we could charge our phones. Positives: One of the biggest advantages is that you do not have to fight for sunbeds. There are around 10 pools throughout the hotel, and each building/room has two sun loungers. As mentioned, the hotel is beautiful from the outside, and everyone is very kind—from the waiters to the restaurant staff. There are 3 à la carte restaurants that require reservations. The receptionist said you could only book for the same day, but this turned out not to be true, so we only managed to try 2 of them as there were no available slots left. The Italian restaurant is excellent with a wide selection, while the Indian restaurant is average. Our cleaner, Antonio, did an excellent job and was very friendly—we had quite a few conversations. At the pool, Mohamed was also very kind. Sometimes we did not even have to say anything; he already knew what we wanted to drink. The hotel is huge; we were at the top, so the beach was about a 10–15 minute walk, but there were plenty of sunbeds there as well, so there was no need to rush early in the morning to secure a spot. There is a currency exchange machine that offers the same rates as elsewhere and accepts £, €, and $. The restaurant food is generally good. There was one day when I could not find anything I wanted to eat, but after 10 days, I usually get tired of the food anyway. Overall, as mentioned, I cannot give 5 stars because of the bathroom—it would have been outdated even 10 years ago. However, if I find this hotel at a good price next year, we would definitely return.
Stayed for 1 week. Everything was very good. Food and service were great. Beach and gardens too exept noisy and stinky 30 years old shuttle bus reception-beach. It should be quiet electric one.
We stayed in the Senses section of the hotel, overlooking the adults-only Olympic pool in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped setting. Our spacious room was impeccably cleaned each day, with thoughtful decorative touches. Despite the hotel’s size, it never felt crowded thanks to the low-rise buildings and stunning, well-maintained gardens. The food was excellent, with a wide choice in the buffet and superb à la carte restaurants, especially the Indian overlooking the private coral reef. Snorkelling was unforgettable, with tropical fish appearing almost immediately. The standout feature was the exceptional staff, whose friendliness and attention to detail made us feel truly valued. This is one of the best all-inclusive hotels we’ve experienced and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
We stayed at this fantastic hotel for two weeks in May 2026 as a family of five adults and two children (aged 13 and 10), and we had the most wonderful holiday!
We’re regular visitors to Egypt because we absolutely love the country, the people, and the amazing hospitality. This was our first stay at this hotel, and it certainly won’t be our last. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
Our two-bedroom family room was huge, with plenty of space and storage for all of us. While the décor is a little dated and the rooms are slightly on the darker side, it had very little impact on our stay and certainly didn’t take away from our overall experience.
The pools were fantastic—spotlessly clean, well maintained, and always supervised by attentive lifeguards. The pool bar staff and waiters were exceptional, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. A special thank you to Sabir and Samir, who looked after us so well throughout our stay. They genuinely made our holiday even more enjoyable, and we felt so well cared for.
The restaurants were excellent. There was never any overcrowding or long queues, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety every day. There really was something for everyone, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal.
The beach is absolutely stunning and, without a doubt, one of the biggest highlights of this resort. We snorkelled almost every day and loved every minute. We spent most of our time on the Sentido side of the beach, where having our own bar and waiter service was a lovely added touch that made our beach days even more relaxing.
The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, full of lush gardens, and are incredibly picturesque. Everywhere you looked was spotless and well cared for.
One thing that really stood out was the outstanding customer service. The reception team and guest relations staff regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect and to see if we needed anything. As the hotel wasn’t at full capacity, they very kindly offered us additional à la carte meals and even extended our room until 5pm on departure day free of charge, which we really appreciated.
Our favourite restaurant was the Italian, where both the food and service were exceptional. The Indian restaurant was a very close second, not only for the delicious food but also for its breathtaking sunset views. From there you can even see Farsha and Little Santorini, both of which are well worth visiting during your stay.
We always felt completely safe walking from the hotel to the nearby shops, Farsha, and Little Santorini. Little Santorini was definitely our favourite—it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, great shisha, and is especially suitable if you’re visiting with children. It’s also the perfect place to watch the famous Farsha lights come on in the evening.
Overall, we had an amazing two-week family holiday in our favourite country. The staff truly made us feel welcome from start to finish, and the level of service was outstanding throughout. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning again very soon. Highly recommended!
