The onsite dining options include different restaurants serving delicious international cuisine as well as the best seafood. A Tired 3-Star Hotel, Not a 4-Star Resort ⭐⭐
⭐☆☆☆☆ More like a tired 3-star hotel than a 4-star resort
I stayed at Lido Sharm Hotel in February 2026 and unfortunately I left very disappointed.
The biggest issue was not the food – it was the condition of the hotel itself. Almost everything feels old, worn out and in need of replacement or major refurbishment. The rooms, furniture, fittings and many of the facilities look as though they have been used for years without proper investment. Some items were so old and damaged that they looked completely out of place in a hotel claiming to be 4-star standard.
The hotel feels stuck in the past. Instead of feeling like a relaxing holiday resort, it often felt like staying in a property that has been running on minimal maintenance for a very long time.
The food was not terrible, but it was nothing special either. The choice was limited, the menus were repetitive and after several days it became very predictable. For a short stay it might be acceptable, but for a longer holiday it quickly becomes boring.
The location in Naama Bay is probably the hotel's strongest point. It is convenient and offers great views. The staff were generally polite and helpful, and I have no complaints about them personally.
However, a good location and friendly staff cannot make up for a hotel that is so outdated. In my opinion, calling this a 4-star hotel is very generous. Personally, I would rate it as a tired 3-star hotel at best.
There are many hotels in Sharm El Sheikh offering much better value for money. Unless the hotel undergoes a major renovation, I would not return and would not recommend it to friends or family.

Great hotel
Excellent location, rooms have a fridge and kettle and are stocked daily with water and tea bags / coffee. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable with a powerful shower. The food is good and the breakfast is really good with omelettes cooked for you and a large selection of meats and fruit, cereal and bread etc. The staff are really helpful and will always help you. I have stayed here quite a few times, it is excellent value for money. If you have any issues they will be resolved immediately- just tell reception. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel- I’ve stayed at quite a few in Sharm over the last 30years and this one is the one I always return too.

I kike this place. It's my 4 pcs here. Yes, hotel doesn't new and after renovation, bit it it silenty and very good for older people. If you will be in Sharm, stay in LIDO!

It’s located right beside the beach so it is easier to enjoy the sea Next to the hotel U can find a place to have shopping and make talk to other people from different cultures It’s peace and quiet in here what makes it a cool place to roll in if U just want to relax and talk The lowest floor has some problems with the pipes, so I recommend to get the higher ones If U make a tip or a present for the stuff they will try to make you happy at least for the next 2-3 days
