- Movenpick Resort Sharm el Sheikh

The stunning Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh boasts a prime location and five private beaches in Naama Bay. Guests will feel like Arabian princes and princesses in the lavish rooms and suites decorated with ornate carved wood furnishings, plump, sumptuous beds, and characteristic window screens. The four onsite restaurants serve irresistible buffet style meals, light, summery meals by the shimmering outdoor pool, and tandoor and hot naan bread in the lavish Indian restaurant overlooking the bay. Visitors might go scuba diving with the on-site diving centre and in the evening take a short stroll to the centre of Sharm El Sheikh to experience the resort town's vibrant nightlife with cafés, bars, restaurants, and bazaars. Alternatively, guests can relax with a massage and meditation and yoga class in the wellness centre while children delight in the kids' club and playgrounds, all for an exotic holiday retreat in Sharm el Sheikh.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Brilliant massage and services! Very good value for money. Mohammed was an amazing masseuse.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and enjoyed our vacation. The facilities, atmosphere, and location were very nice.
However, we would especially like to recognize Artem from the reception team. He was exceptional throughout our stay. He was always friendly, professional, responsible, and genuinely willing to help with anything we needed. His positive attitude made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Employees like Artem truly make a difference, and we hope the hotel recognizes his excellent work.
There are also a few areas that need improvement. Housekeeping could be better, as the bathrooms were not cleaned to the standard we expected.
The biggest issue, however, was the behavior of some male staff members around the beach bars. They frequently stared at female guests in a way that felt uncomfortable, and they often spoke to us in languages we did not understand (Russian and Arabic), which made us feel uneasy.
In addition, the staff selling activities around the beach approached us repeatedly. Even after we declined, they came back several times trying to start unnecessary conversations or persuade us to buy something. One polite “no” should be enough.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we hope the hotel pays more attention to staff professionalism, especially around the beach area. Improving this aspect would make the guest experience much more comfortable.
I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
The room I was originally assigned had no balcony, which was a major inconvenience as I was on a diving holiday and had nowhere to dry my diving equipment. As a smoker, I also had no convenient place to smoke.
When I raised my concerns, the hotel offered me what they called an "upgrade." Unfortunately, it was anything but an upgrade. The room was located on the ground floor of an older, unrenovated building. It had a strong damp, musty smell, making it unpleasant to stay in. Calling this an upgrade was misleading.
Throughout my stay, I found the staff to be unfriendly and not customer-oriented. Rather than trying to understand my needs or provide a genuine solution, they seemed unwilling to help.
The hotel's facilities may be attractive, but customer service and guest satisfaction should be a priority. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially if you expect attentive service or if you have specific accommodation requirements.
Wow!!! Movenpick you have not dissapointed i normally wait until i get home to write a review however this hotel is Amazing 😍the people, the room, the food the pool and the 4 beaches attached to the hotel theres not a thing i can fault the service is the best ive encountered on an all inclusive holiday it has a stables which ive yet to visit as theres so much to take in here the views from the room are beautiful overlooking naama bay(we stayed in a superior room with sea view )worth a little extra 😉 If i could take one gripe it would be that the horizon bar isnt all inclusive and quite pricey we ordered 3 drinks that cost £41 if it where less pricey we would visit more and purchase drinks but im afraid we wont be going back to that bar we wondered why it was empty😁 Please dont let that put you off the moods bar is open untill midnight and its all inclusive with a lovely terrace overlooking the bay we have eaten at the El Kababgy restaurant that you book at reception you are allowed 1 meal there per 7 night stay a lovely egyption meal consisting of bread and dips /salad starter mixed grill and fresh fruit beautuful setting We have yet to try the Rangoli indian Resturant which ive been told is the best in sharm ill get back to you on that one 😛 If your thinking of booking do it its a great hotel 20mins walk to naama bay shopping street with all the shops, bars resturants ❤️ Im continuing my holiday as i text i just had to let you know sooner rather than later Happy Holidays 🫠

It was also a great pleasure and honor to meet Mr. Mohammed, the owner. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional, and his kindness and dedication truly left a lasting impression.
Lotus Spa was one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, professional, and truly memorable spa experience. Thank you to Mr. Mohammed and the entire Lotus Spa team for such a beautiful experience.
