The hotel has direct access to the beach at Nabq Bay which is located roughly 50 m away. El Khan Market is around 100 m away and the town centre of Naama Bay can be reached in around 15 minutes by car. The hotel is situated 9 km from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport. Built in 2007, this air-conditioned complex offers 286 deluxe rooms and 12 Executive Suites. The guestrooms are tastefully furnished in a resort style, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment. All standard rooms have balconies or terraces and most rooms enjoy a sea view. Guests can benefit from a variety of facilities, including a car park, Internet access and a children's playground. The hotel also offers a range of recreational facilities, SPA treatments and organized activity programmes.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 5 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The worst hotel ever. We initially booked a standard room to which we was shown after our late flight. It was revolting. No human should be allowed to stay in that sort of room as it was unhygienic and unethical. The room was a good 10 mins away from the main building which was not convenient. Straight away I complained to the reception staff Muhammad and he was very rude. He showed us another two rooms which were exactly the same. They didn’t offer anything else and we was forced to sleep there in that room with the filth in the beds and hair and earwax everywhere. The next morning we had no choice to pay to upgrade to the deluxe room. This is a financial strategic way for them to make more money as hotel. They offer rubbish rooms and by seeing the filth and dirt you are forced to pay more moneys to upgrade rooms to not ruin your experience. They are scums. This hotel is known as a 1 star hotel, whenever we got in cabs the drivers always asked why we staying at Amwaj as it is known as the worst hotel in sharm and it is only for locals. The food was disgusting. Uncovered food and no taste. The pizza man was amazing. The African bar staff was nice and friendly. The lifeguards are horrible. Whistling every 2 mins and being horrible to kids telling them they will get security to come and chuck them out of the pool. They are kids for gods sake. Hotel manager Ahmed was useless, made us sign a declaration form to show we are happy when we was not. We was so sick of waiting around for a room for 2 days and we didn’t even unpack we just wanted to sign and get into a clean room and start out holiday. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is full of local Egyptian people and not for British people. I would give it 0/5.
Don't usually write a review but had to post my view. I've been lucky enough to travel to Cyprus Turkey and here this year and wow what a disappointment, I'm here at the moment. Hotel is so run down and the food!! If you don't like pasta or cold beef stew you're screwed. There is an ice cream kiosk next to the bar but if you want one there is a charge, I could go on but won't just avoid

This is are 3rd time in 3 years and safely say that fantastic hotel with very friendly staff and fantastic choice of food to select from . We specifically liked Ahmed and GodA that working at the relax pool close to are room and big thanks to Tarek, Samir that have been a great laugh to meet, we also like thank the chamber attendent that cleaned are room to perfection and surprised animals of of towels. I also like thank the secretary staff for finding my self stick and various other things do to sun alcohol, drink and age, especially Mustafa the head of security.
