Wael and Fady were very good staff members and lobby bar is very clean. The other bartenders were amazing too. Scarlett from the animation team was amazing!!! Even though she is a wool 👀
Only bad thing was the construction 🥲 everything else was so good.
Drinks were so strong…
WARNING: COMPROMISED SYSTEM & DATA LEAK - SCAMMED FOR €4,056! Do NOT book directly through the official website of this hotel! I made a direct reservation (Ref: klmqfnrw) and shortly after, cybercriminals contacted me with phishing emails. The scammers had ABSOLUTE access to the hotel's database: they knew my full name, exact room type, dates of stay, and my unique internal booking reference code. Because of this severe data breach from the hotel's secure systems, I was scammed out of €4,056. The hotel management is completely ignoring the issue, refusing to answer emails, and trying to hide the data leak. Booking here is highly dangerous for your personal and financial security. Absolute lack of guest protection and zero customer support!
On arrival, the hotel gave off really good vibes and our first impressions were positive. However, things changed quite quickly when we headed to our room.
To get to our room, we had to walk through the area where the nightly entertainment is held, which felt a little awkward, especially in the evenings. When we finally got into the room, it was clear it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for some time. The floor was so dirty that our feet were filthy within minutes, and we ended up keeping our shoes on most of the time.
After two nights, we simply couldn't bear staying in that room any longer. It was incredibly dark and unwelcoming. My grandchildren didn't feel safe in there, and to be honest, I could completely understand why.
Thankfully, a member of the customer service team approached us by the pool and asked if everything was okay. We explained our concerns, and the following day she invited us to view an alternative room. What a difference! It genuinely felt like we had been moved to a completely different hotel. The room was bright, spacious, clean and exactly what I would have expected for the price we paid for a family holiday. She really went above and beyond for us, and we are very grateful.
The swimming pools were fantastic. If children get bored here, there's something wrong! There was also a smaller pool with an attached paddling pool, which became our favourite spot during the afternoons. No pool service at all, Not a snob but what a chore going to the bar and the choice of drinks so poor.
We also tried the Japanese restaurant, which was amazing. The food there was fresh, enjoyable and the children absolutely loved it.
The evening entertainment for a family hotel was very poor!
Unfortunately, the main restaurant was a huge let-down. The food was repetitive, boring and seemed to be the same thing night after night. For us, this was the biggest disappointment of the holiday.
Overall, the staff and pool facilities saved the holiday, especially the customer service lady who sorted our room issue so quickly and professionally. However, due to the poor food offering and our initial room experience, I wouldn't return. Charmillion Aqua Park is also around a 15-minute ride from the main strip in Nabq, which may be worth considering if you like to get out and about.
A mixed experience with some great positives, but ultimately not somewhere we would book again.
First time going to Egypt in Sharm el sheikh, the hotel was really clean and well kept the gardens around the water park and also the restaurants. Hotel room- we stayed in room 3503 which was garden view which was a nice view. The room it’s self was big separate rooms for your children to give you space and also we all had are own bed. They were clean and well kept the only downside was the shower room it was ok but could do with an update, but your only showering in there and I wouldn’t let it bother me at all.. but overall really good. Please bring your own iron tho, they don’t provide one. The fridge needed sorting as well worked, but just needed updating. Got given water bottles every morning.
The hotel - stunning the reception well kept and kinda cat fished the hotel rooms. But it was lovely and the people were really friendly.
Sunloungers were so comfy and it was very clean and well kept, had towels provided for you one at the main pool and another one around the slides. There was like vase around the bushes and they were bins and there was no rubbish on the floor and they kept on top of the bins through out the day..
Bar around the pool, only have either cola or cola zero, soft drinks were nice, alcohol we don’t drink so couldn’t tell you about that. Ice creams you had to pay for which was 100EP. About £2 in English they were ok.
Pools - freezing but after the day went on they actually got warmer so I wouldn’t complain as when you’re baking in the sun it’s actually very refreshing.
Slides - water park - really good, for adults and kids area very good on life guards, very friendly and really good they had a laugh with the kids and they did let you jump in but also being careful. They also sorted my sunloungers out to direct me where the sun was..
Food- the snack bar around the water park is your typical chips, burgers, salad, sausages (not my fave) ok but wouldn’t rave about it.
Restaurant - breakfast hit and miss I had fried eggs every morning, had no problems or croissants. Hard for some kids. Or picky eaters.
Lunch - we fought foods to eat - most days and were really fussy eaters but we didn’t struggle. Dinner the same.
Entrainment was good in the day they did try and get you out of your comfort zone and get you to join in which was good.
Evening entertainment wasn’t the best we went in Russian season and they were really rude and they did a lot of entertainment in Russian language. But we didn’t let that bother us.
There’s shops and restaurants in Nabq bay one is called Wild West really good would recommend so much we went 4 times in the Evening as the food was so good. Just for a change of scenery and we like to go out. Very safe and no one bothers you (nothing like Turkey)
Taxi man - called Mohammed young man he’s brilliant, every time we wanted a ride I would just message him and he would be there in 20mins and we gave him what we wanted to pay. I did pay him 400EP which works out £4.42 English for the whole trip. And I tipped him 100EP which is £2.21 English. Sod all for what we pay in England and he travelled so far from where he lived as well.. he was so good not good on English but he did translate and he was just there when we wanted him.. if we go back I will use him for are taxi when we arrive at the airport his number is +20 122 578 2833 I wouldn’t put this on my review if I didn’t trust him but I’ve kept his number in my phone for when we go back.. so please use him he’s a good man.. he will remember us family of 4 and always went to Wild West..
Soho market / square really nice place high end of security loads of restaurants loads of crap they sell (fake) they don’t pester you and if you say a price that they don’t like they just sit down and leave you alone..
Soho square restaurant is good not much choice but very nice.. very cheap £30 English 4 meals and 4 drinks. Very American like.. 👍
Overall it was one of are best holidays and we would come back but try a different hotel/ maybe come back to the same one.
We have booked for next year in hurghada..
Last thing book your excursions through GetYourGuide over here as you pay more over there. We did yacht and went scuba diving definitely would recommend that I have written a review on there as well and also the dumb buggies.. we did so much in Egypt and it was so cheap. They use dollars (American) euros, Egyptian pound, but I would just use EP FOR TIPS, then debit card but everything else personally you just get a charge from your bank but was pennies.. I would take plenty of spending money for excursions for photos and videos.
Also for tipping you can tip who ever you want, we tipped the taxi man, and the restaurant man at Wild West as there services was just great on manners specially the man called “mo”..
But I didn’t want to go home, weather is great the people were great and just felt so safe anywhere and everywhere even used an atm in there town centre and didn’t get no bother, more likely to get robbed in uk than over there..
Hope this helps people and enjoy your holiday… (photo to show the taxi man)
We are currently staying at Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park for our honeymoon, and honestly, it has been an unforgettable experience so far.
From the first moment we arrived, the front office team made us feel truly welcomed and special. A very special thanks to the entire front office team for their exceptional hospitality, professionalism, kindness, and continuous support throughout our stay. They genuinely care about the guests and always go the extra mile to make everything perfect.
Our room is absolutely wonderful: spacious, very clean, comfortable, and perfect for a honeymoon stay. The atmosphere around the hotel is relaxing and beautiful, which made our time together even more special. Also, there was no noise happening around the room due to the good sound isolation.
The aqua park is fantastic and adds so much fun to the stay. Everything is very well organized and maintained.
We also want to especially main restaurant service. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious with a great variety every day.
Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We are truly enjoying every moment here and would highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for a perfect stay in Sharm El Sheikh.
