A magical evening
This was our last night in Morocco. We chose this Riad from the previous reviews. We only stayed for one night and the night was spectacular. We thought we would drop our bags and go somewhere else for the day, but we were enraptured once we entered. We stayed for lunch on the rooftop. We stayed for relaxing and we stayed for happy hour. The evening was done and we remained enchanted with this Riad. Khalid, the Riad Manager, was so hospitable and went out of his way to solve our transportation issues. Simon at the bar was the most perfect of bartenders/mixologists. We are sad we only stayed here one day. Our next visit will include more days.
Superb first exposure to Marrakech and the Moroccan culture
We spent a few days in Marrakech, and we stayed at the Villa Makassar. From the moment you enter, you are transported into another dimension. the place is beautiful and the attention to details is second to none. the place is simply beautiful.
Boutique experience in the kasbah
Located in the heart of the Kasbah district, this place give you much more of a locals experience. This place is a boutique hotel with a very personal touch and all of the staff are personable and attentive. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We used the rooftop terrace hot tub one night and they served us with mint tea! The breakfast is simple and delicious, with an assortment of jams, spreads and various breads. We enjoyed the kitchen’s freshly made omelettes. We would definitely stay here again!
Great Stay!
We enjoyed out stay at Villa Makassar. The room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. The hotel felt intimate which is what I was looking for when I booked. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I loved the location too. I will definitely book again for my next trip and will be recommending to friends.
Calming Villa
What a wonderful experience I had visiting this villa. Nothing was a problem with the staff and everything was attended with ease. Excellent service throughout my stay especially in the restaurant with the wonderful host Victoria. Denise R
