Food average but the good point is that the location is next to the center and front of beach. Do not book all inclusive be curious and taste the food around.
Firstly nice hotel, bit dated. Food is okish. Sun does not come out in August, cloudy everyday. Cold at night, needed cardigans every night, you still tan from clouds, but this is the coolest holiday Iv ever been on, pools cold as no sun. The beach is awful and sea very cold being the North Atlantic. Locals outside of hotel not welcoming to English. Local shops for sweets crisp try to rip you off with bank card. Rooms only for 2, 5 of us in my family in split rooms not conjoined. So sleeping arrangements not good. We took a trip to paradise valley which is very unsafe. Signs say no swimming, but scratched out!! animals everywhere, and shack like restaurants, very uneven ground, when we got to the rock pool, the water is green, no waterfall, and the guide has to help you up and down rocks. We were advised by another family to wear trainers, hats and take water, and water shoes for the kids, it’s impossible to get out the rock pool unless dragged out by 2 people, very slippy. No safety instructions given by on the beach rep beforehand ! My kids love the pool, but it’s loud music all day long which is repeated. Alcohol watered down. Agadair not built up enough, nothing going on outside hotel. We were advised not to do the beach walk at night to the marina as not safe. We would not return and we are putting a big complaint into on the beach.
Went with my 14yo for 2 weeks. Great hotel with all the amenities we were looking for. Staff were friendly, helpful and always easy to approach. Food was good range of options - lots of local cuisine with european options too. Themed dinner nights weren't wildly different but added some more options. Pool big enough but still far too many people reserving loungers and not using them. (We left to come home at 7am and there were about 1/4 already reserved!) Roped off section at the beach just a few minutes walk from the hotel (need to pay 2md for public toilets so have some change) Good choice of restaurants all within strolling distance from the hotel. Small local tabacs and souks along with the biggest in Morocco. Loads of activities in the area if you get fed up relaxing.
The hotel was in a good location. You could walk to multiple restaurants. It was surrounded by shops and it was about a 10 minute walk to the marina. POOL; The pools were decent sizes. There was a very shallow pool, a deep pool and then the main pool which was in between. There was steps at either side of the pool and it seemed like staff would check the pool levels multiple times a day there was always a staff member/lifeguard present. However they did not seem like there was enough sun lounges and it was very much a case of you had to be up early to put your towel down and quite often towels would be on sun lounges all throughout the day and it wouldn’t be people on the Sun lounges. The staff are very friendly and they do daytime entertainment such as aerobics and different games like archery at the poolside. FOOD; There were different options of food however I think it depends on what type of food you like there is a different theme nights: Moroccan, Spanish, French there was also always three different types of pastas available as well as them having two stations cooking hot food normally some sort of meat such as chicken or beef.We ate out a lot of the time because there was some very nice restaurants right outside of the Hotel. The drink selection from the bars was good and at meal times there was unlimited fizzy drinks beer or wine. The pool side snack bar which served chips, turkey nuggets and pizza didn’t open until the lunch started to be served, which seems to be around midday.
I would say once the canteen buffet area is closed there’s not a lot of paths you can take around like to get from the main area to the sports bar so it meant awkwardly walking around the pools
ROOM; Our room had a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable. It had multiple mirrors however water was not provided in the rooms and it was quite awkward trying to get bottled water. Our room seemed to be quite clean however other people in our group that we were staying with their room was not so clean. It had more mould and very dirty floors and broken tiles. At one point, they had a stain on their bedding which was not changed. It was just moved to the bottom side of the bed; they spilt a massive stain of hot chocolate on the bedding which was then changed. The cleaners while they were very friendly they seem to manage to come awkward times of the day they seem to arrive once we were in the rooms even with a do not disturb sign they kept persistently knocking.
Overall an OK stay, close to beach where there is a private sectioned part always beds available.
Buffet food was nice themed evenings snack bar was awful though cold chips pizza and nuggets.
Drinks disappointing ready mixed cocktails which were very watered down and bar shut at 11pm.
Rooms were OK, air con didn't work very well fresh towels every day but cleanliness of rooms could have been better. Fridge in room but that didn't work well either.
Morocco is a beautiful country to visit we will definitely return again but won't stay here.
