Large group of 3 families all stayed here for a week all inclusive, one child had a birthday, hotel will make a cake for you (cost approx £15). I must say, this was probably one of my favourite holidays...
A few niggles, as expected anywhere you go but overall I would go again.
Large complex with 5 pools that we where aware of. Kids pools near kids club, adults pools. We always went and reserved a couple of loungers but there was always plenty available (tip the guy who puts them out near the booking booth for restaurants and he'll sort you out each day with a parasol ect) Plenty of space for families, the main pool has a bar where you can get soft drinks, alcohol and snacks. The second largest pool has a restaurant that serves snacks in the afternoon (burgers, pizza ect) Drinks consisted of local alcohol and fizzy soft drinks. Water didnt seem to be available and fresh juice was available at breakfast in the main buffet. The kids pool had access to the main road from a gated area (has security to prevent anyone coming in) you can access the beach from there. Its about 3 minutes walking. Lots of people will try to sell you things at the beach. We only visited once.
Various restaurants with different cuisines (pre booking essential) Moroccan restaurant was fantastic (think traditional tagines ect) and a large buffet restaurant. Food was great, didn't have any issues consuming and stuck to the usual rules of avoiding anything washed (salad). Breakfast omlets where extremely popular and que was always waiting for them (freshly made infront of you with a choice of toppings) dinner in the buffet always had a wide selection of meals and is constantly topped up.
Onsite shop, little bit pricey but essential. Couple of stalls in the complex selling clothing, spices ect. You must learn to haggle and check the prices. They love calculator haggling.
There was constantly entertainment. Exercise classes during the day, kids club, evening entertainment was dancing, karaoke and shows in the large hall (traditional Moroccan dancing, magic show, fire shows ect) fantastic overall. I believe you could get massages and hair done but never used it. They had a lady doing henna tattoos who was really good.
Hotel rooms where basic but clean. Think old Travelodge after a night out. Tv didn't work in ours so couldn't comment on channel availability. To be honest we spent most of the day by the pool, at the beach or at evening shows so we where knackered when we went to the room. My only gripe was there was no lift. 6 flights of stairs each day and night was a little tiresome but honestly that's all I could complain about.
Bring your own toilet roll..... They will provide some daily but if you are a family of 4/5 it wont last long.
Concierge will bring your bags to your room. Tips are always welcome for doing so. They have baggage storage on your leaving day also.
its such a shame first time at this hotel in march all staff was lovely as women on my own they couldnt do enough for me so i disagree with previous comment they was so nice i was only there for 1 week but sadly lockdown came and had no details about flights to go bk home i was last person in hotel and they even opened the restaurant just for me ,but i had to leave that night hotel found me guy that found hotel still open in Marrakech so i travelled 9pm night n got there midnight , but it was such a shame i didnt get to see hotel full and experienced the atmosphere of it the entertainment staff was brill maybe i go back when its safe
First of all I want to say that I think this hotel could have a lot of potential, but then they have to do something about it! It's one of the only hotels in Agadir with such a big space. My advice: Close for a couple of months and give the hotel a good make over and do something about the food you serve. Because now.....
The hotel is one big dirty mess! The rooms look like they are from the 60's and so so dirty. Also the reception area, restaurant, just everything looks all so dirty and it's clearly they don't care about it. I couldn't stay another night in this hotel, so I demanded my money back and went to spend my last days in another hotel in Agadir.
My 3rd visit as I love this place. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Food is cooked fresh and there is alot of choice...
I think the rooms could br refurbished as they have had the same decor for years. The entertainment team work very hard to keep everybody happy but think they shpuld have more english dance music. Will be going again
Found waiters and animation team very friendly and helpful, but receptionist was rude and very unhelpful. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel , the room was clean , but very cold , heater did not work and no remote for TV , which meant you couldn't watch it.They charged us £16 to use the room safe as well an hotel tax added on. You are also pestered by franchise stalls that are set up within the hotel...
and will not be coming back.
