Stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst on business in Agadir, it’s a smaller hotel located across the road from the large hotels on the beach front. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much given the price of the hotel, and slightly outdated reception area, but was pleasantly suspired. The apartment was large with a comfortable bedroom, clean modern bathroom, small but well-equipped kitchen area, lounge seating area and balcony. The WIFI worked well as did the AC. The hotel has a small but pleasant pool area at the back, and was much quieter than some of the bigger hotels. No bar or entertainments team, but then that’s not necessarily a downside!!
I didn’t eat at the hotel but I did use the small shop selling soft drinks and snacks which can save a trip down to one of the kiosks by the beach. Overall good value for money if you’re looking for an apart-hotel rather than an all-inclusive resort hotel.
Hotel is ok but the area is quite devoid of anything except the beach. Breakfast wasn’t much of a selection. Hotel clean but staff regularly forgot to give us towels and walked in and out of our room without knocking. Great value though and not far from beach. Very acceptable but no wow factor. Avoid the shop which is overpriced and not very friendly
We stayed at this hotel for a week. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The small kitchenette had everything what we needed, including a cooking station, pots, kettle, cutlery and a fridge. There are bigger supermarkets(Marjane and carrefour) about 10-15 minutes away if of you take a taxi ( should cost about 20-30dirham with one of the orange local taxis),or pop into the small shop next door. That saved us to pay for breakfast at the hotel. The hotel pool is kept clean and most of the time you will find a free sunbed, if not the beach is easy reachable within 5 minutes walk across the road.
The only problem we had was the noise level of the hotel there was constant slamming of doors( people don’t know what door handles are used for), even at nighttime. It woke us up most nights( even with earplugs), hotel is build like a funnel, a reception in the middle and rooms built around it. Any loud talking ,laughing ,children screaming or music of the reception we could hear in our apartment. We had a room on the poolside with a balcony, which was great, but not the music of the pool, from around dinner time to about 8 o’clock, music was blasting out from bad loud speakers.
Overall the hotel is clean, staff was very friendly, there is a bit of a walking distance to restaurants or shops, but there was always a taxi around to hop in. It’s great for families, children loved the pool and parents where sunbathing.
We had a Junior Suite which was newly renovated, clean and spacious. We could see the sea from our balcony. The beach is just across the street and you can walk along the promenade to a busier area. The hotel staff are there to assist in any way and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant offers a good variety of breakfasts and dinners which are all reasonably priced. All in all a good choice for our trip.
Rachid - Thank you for answering my questions every night. We were both wrong about the football scores but right about the winning team!
This hotel is Super - the staff are lovely, friendly and ready to help you with a smile. The rooms were very spacious and the lovely cleaning staff came in everyday to make beds (in a pretty fashion). Adequate utensils and toiletries for my needs. AC worked well. The food in the pizza restuarant was delicious and really good value - nothing was too much bother if I deviated from the menu. Breakfast specails €3 - €4 were the best and set you up for the day , the salads were fresh, Targines tastie and the pasta good too. The pool area was clean and lots of umbellas and beds to chill out - even got towels if you requested them too from the lifeguard. Beach only a stones throw away with its super promanade. Majane supermarket is 25 mins easy walk away but there are taxis orange metered and the others everywhere. Certainly recommend this hotel for the independant traveller.
Just unfortunate there were road works when I stayed - Im sure they are all done now - the most annoying sounds where from the generator over at the RIU Dunus - If I were management I would complain about that. The tinny sounding stereo system around the pool needs to be replaced or just dont play music - everyone moved when the lifeguard intermitantly kept turning it on! Only other gripe - as the main central area of the hotel went up all the way through the hotel noise echoed from every floor especailly the very load appartment heavy doors which slammed very loudly - woke me up several times !
