Agadir

Located near Agadir city centre, the hotel is some 200 metres from shopping venues and 700 metres from the beach. Agadir Almassira Airport is approximately 30 km from the establishment. In the surrounding area, guests will find many dining and entertaining venues. To rest and relax, visitors can spend some time in the outdoor swimming pool sunbathing or enjoying a swim. They can also have a meal in the restaurant or a couple of drinks in the bar. The comfortable rooms are decorated with warm tones that create a welcoming atmosphere and feature all the amenities needed for a pleasant and memorable stay.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Nice peaceful hotel

Review by pms012015 Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Spent a week here 30/4/19 to 7/5/19, nice hotel, close to all amenities, decent room, cleaned every day, good base to explore Morocco, only one drawback, Ramadan starts on 7th May, the hotel bar closed on 3rd May to prepare for Ramadan?, if you like a drink after your days activities, book your dates carefully ! Oh, as an afterthought, dont take Moroccan currency to the airport on your return trip, they dont take it anywhere except coffee shops, and you cant change it so your stuck with it, cant change it in the UK either.

Hotel Bar in decline

Review by Peter G West Midlands, United Kingdom

I visited this bar 3 evenings only to find the excellent waitress no longer there and not many customers. I have known this hotel and bar several years now and the atmosphere was certainly different. The bar is spacious and has a nice beer garden with plenty of tv screens to watch football...

Usually its packed with Moroccan clients and buzzing with social activity. The beer is very cheep and there is another bar on top floor - a rooftop bar. Its worth visiting on street la rue de la foire opposite cafe la Fontaine

Lovely hotel.

Review by clive n Kirkby-in-Ashfield, United Kingdom

What a lovely, friendly, hotel the Farah turned out to be.The place is spotless and is in a great position for everything.about 20mins to beach and close to great, cheap,Moroccan restaurants. The hotel has two bars, the Sky Bar has Moroccan music and singing on most nights and the ground floor bar has a TV showing sport.Bottle of Flag Pils was only 20dh,although I always paid 25dh.Although both bars are mainly frequented by Moroccan males, they are very friendly.Loved a drink in these bars when I returned at night. The swimming pool, although small, was always clean and there are tables and seats around the pool that you can take your drinks out to.My room,OK it was dated, but it was spotless. The bed was very comfortable,I slept like a baby, and there was always lovely, clean, fluffy towels and lashings of hot water..There is also a fridge in the rooms which is really handy for storing beer and water.Must mention the lovely Nejet who sorted out my room every day.She left it in an immaculate condition. What a star. There is a lift to all floors,I was on the second floor and never had to wait for it to arrive. There is also a restaurant on site which serves meals, and although I never ate here,it always smelt good. All the staff at the Farah were so friendly, especially every one on reception.Nothing was too much trouble.I must also mention Sayeed on reception. He was so helpful and spoke excellent English.I will have no hesitation in staying at the Farah next time I'm in town.Try Bab Agadir Restaurant/Cafe.About a 5min.walk and it is the best Moroccan food in Agadir. The Harira is superb.

Great Hotel

Review by thumpered Bangkok, Thailand

Arrived yesterday, checked in and we're greater by helpful staff that were very helpful. We have a room on the 3rd floor and have not had any probems with noise. We face the street and noise is minimal. Need to remember this is a budget hotel...

Room is basic but clean and has all we need except a kettle to make tea. We paid £ 22 per night and it is worth every penny remembering this is the low season. There are a large number of places to eat that are very cheap for 2. Don't go to Tafanout for breakfast. We were invaded by bees seeking the honey served. Will update the visit when we have tried places to eat. The hotel is a very good deal. Hope this helps.

New Farah, Agadir

Review by Storyteller618282 Brighton, United Kingdom

I'm glad I chose the New Farah for my overnight stay in Agadir - I'll be coming back for a couple of days next week, and know I'll have everything I need for a comfortable stop-over.

The price is middle-of-the-road. For just under 250dh B&B I can find cheaper rooms in the Talborjt - but not with solid quality.

My room here is large, comfortable and well-equipped - with a good bathroom...

Being on the 1st floor and looking over the street, it might have been noisy - but the Rue de la Foire is a quiet, classy little boulevard without much through-traffic. No disturbances!

Breakfast was good, standard Moroccan faire, and the staff have all been delightful. The cafe downstairs gave a good simple evening meal.

Only the wifi is disappointing, at least here in the room - Skype and WhatsApp calls not good. I know it would be fine downstairs, but who wants to Skype from the hotel lounge?

All in all a decent choice for the price.
