Poor customer service skills..housekeeping service is wack...the pool is dirty and tiles cracked..the day I visit there current and water was off the whole day🙄 I would not recommend nobody to go here 💯shabby!!
Helpful staff like they phone bus driver to see where in area you are. Maid was lovely smiley and happy to serve. Room clean quiet and excellent value...
Location 5 minute walk big supermarket but otherwise rely on bus to St. John’s or dickensen bay. If you don’t use bus willed taxi. A bit inconvenient for location. Bus costs virtually nothing. Nigel restaurant on site is amazing the very best in all Antigua.
I have now visited in all eastern Caribbean islands but not in small not-independent. Antigua Is the only that I miss and want to come back. I walked from the hotel to city centre and back...
2,8 km x 2. Everywhere I met friendly and lovely people, most in Anchorage Inn. The country is not rich, but people the best.
Visited the Anchorage in for a church social. Not much ambiance but quite appropriate for the occasion. The staff was pleasant. The food was not bad...
I would certainly recommend it for a similar function. The parking lot needs some upgrading. Not easily maneuverable.
Upon arrival I asked to see the "standard" room that I booked online. As it turns out, the standard room was A LOT smaller than the room shown online. However, after insisting that they should, management was good enough to upgrade me to the room illustrated online for the same rate...
The lady at front desk (Michelle) was very pleasant and helpful in the process. While the actual room could definitely use an upgrade, it was reasonably clean and good enough for a one night stay. The cable tv selection in the room was very limited and reception not the best, but the room had a balcony overlooking a very inviting looking pool. Also thought the actual rate (which was not what I paid) was a bit high for what was being offered given the location away from the beach and airport, and that it could use an update.
