The hotel is beautiful and the staff very friendly and professional. Clarisa was spot on when we arrived, very professional and informative. Melissa on the next day was super helpful sorting out something for me and the man who brought was I asked for to my room was super friendly and nice...
Also the waitress from Jamaica that served us at the restaurant had the perfect balance between banter and professionalism, her service was spot on and she was so friendly and welcoming and helped making our night great, my bad I didn’t get her name. Overall a great place to relax and spend your holidays! Thank you.
The Trade Winds hotel is a pleasant hotel with nice ocean views. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and the bathroom was very up to date...
My stay was disappointing though, didn't have hot water and for some reason housekeeping is provided only every other day. The Bay House restaurant was the real letdown. Tried to order the Continental Breakfast, was told there was no yogurt nor pastries, Really? At lunch no pulled pork sandwiches. These don't seem like exotic ingredients and one gets the impression they just don't care enough. Actually getting our lunch took over an hour from the time we ordered. The staff tried to make it right, they comped us the meal and the chef and hotel manager both came by to apologize for the delay, but why does this problem even exist? If you run a restaurant don't you want to serve your customers in a reasonable amount of time? If this is too big a challenge perhaps you're in the wrong line of work.
Found this gem of a place and would recommend to anyone the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Staff all very helpful and attentive to your needs. I will stay here again soon on my next trip to Antigua. Great place 👍👍👍👍
Rooms are nice and staff are generally friendly. However I ordered room service. Been told to wait 25 minutes, after 1 hour and 30 minutes food has not arrived. I called again and a lady from restaurant lied saying food is already on the way. He tone was a joke, and unfortunately she lied too. Food arrived, cold, after 2 hours.
I understand delays, I don’t tolerate lies.
