Falmouth Harbour

This hotel is located in Falmouth harbour. It is ideally situated for all the services of the English & Falmouth Harbours, directly on the main road, and offers all the amenities of the marina. It is only a few minutes' walk to historic Nelson's Dockyard and Pigeon Beach.

Established in 2005, the hotel comprises a total of 19 hotel rooms, 24 studio apartments, and six executive suites with separate bedrooms, all set amidst wonderful tropical landscaped gardens. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock and a safe. Furthermore, the hotel has its own café, hairdresser, bar, 4-star gourmet Italian restaurant, a beauty salon, a bank, a delicatessen, a liquor shop, car hire, excursion service, boutiques, supermarket, travel agent, ice cream parlour, conference facilities, and much more. Laundry services are also included in the hotel's facilities, and a parking is available for those arriving by car.

The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a private balcony or terrace, a ceiling fan, a room safe, satellite/ cable TV, a direct dial telephone, a wireless broadband Internet connection, and a DVD/ CD player. In addition, a kitchenette, a minibar, a small fridge, an oven, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, and a double bed are also provided in all accommodation units as standard. The air conditioning can be individually regulated.

Leisure options include hiking, sailing, deep-sea fishing, tennis, squash, and horse-riding (available nearby). Coming soon to the resort are a Turkish steam bath, a spa, a fully equipped gym, and a medical room with first aid and emergency equipment. Sun loungers are also available. Guests may also take advantage of the massage and spa treatments, while more sporty types can try water skiing, motor boating, catamaran sailing, and table tennis.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Good basic accommodation

Review by sowlet Daventry, United Kingdom

We stayed here for 10 nights in June in the room only part of the hotel. We had a front facing room with a balcony. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable...

The shower was large and always plenty of hot water. We had a slight issue with the plug in the sink but that was quickly resolved by the maintenance team. We asked for extra pillows and they were provided promptly by housekeeping. All staff were very friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Excellent accommodation for the money,

Review by drdaveforbes Chelmsford, United Kingdom

We stayed here twice, for 2 nights before and 2 nights after a yacht charter in late May and early June. On our first visit we had one of the Seaview Suites. These are enormous, on 2 levels and would be ideal for a family...

The downstairs bedroom was rather sparsely furnished, but the upstairs lounge area was fine with balconies on both levels. There is also a kitchen, the equipment here seems a little variable. These rooms are at the top of the property and have great views over Falmouth Harbour. For our second visit we had a Seaview Studio (no. 49). This was also located at the top of the property with great views. Our room was decorated nicely and we preferred this to the suite. It became apparent that not all the rooms are the same, however, so may be worth discussing with the resort when booking.

The staff we had dealings with were lovely, very friendly and helpful, especially Meechi. The grounds are well kept. The hotel is across a narrow road from the marina area. I can well imagine that the rooms overlooking the road would be noisy, especially in high season. After Antigua Yacht week which finishes in early May, most things seem to quieten down or close. Our first visit was on a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Most of the local restaurants were closed, although you could get a good meal in Bar-B, part of the Marina complex, and we had breakfast at Seabreeze. Our second visit was on a Sunday and Monday and the whole area was much busier, giving an idea of what it would be like in season with a wide range of different restaurants.

All they offer is a place you could sleep!

Very good location, rooms are very simple and no basic room amenities only shampoo lotion and soap . Bathroom was not clean, tv was not working, very old furniture the doors and windows were not properly closing or opening, all you have is a bed and a shelter that you can safely spend the night.

Love love love it here. Just perfect

Review by Mobile45305622640 Sturton By Stow, United Kingdom

Having never been to Antigua I didn’t know what to expect. On arrival I was great with cheery hello and made to feel very welcome. I was shown to my room which overlooked the marina...

It was just stunning from the moment I opened my balcony doors. The view at night is like loads of Xmas trees lite up. I was room only so I asked if I could have a kettle and cup. These arrived very quickly and meant I could have my morning cuppa!!! With such a lovely view I spend many a night just sat on my balcony admiring the view and listening to music from the bars. It was never so loud that it was off putting but just night sounds mixed with the chatter of people below. The staff couldn’t of been more helpful. If I asked for a reservation to be made at a restaurant it was done in seconds!! The room was airy huge bed and a fridge that kept things lovely and chilled. Restaurants all within easy walking distance and for a lone female traveller I felt very safe even at night. Room kept lovely and clean fresh towels every day. Would I stay here again??? In a heart beat. In fact I’ve booked again for next March!!!! And I’ve not even left yet. Thank you Antigua yacht club Marina I will miss seeing your happy smiling faces every morning. Until next year xxx
