Fabulous stylish hotel

Review by bubblescharlbury Charlbury, United Kingdom

A fabulous hotel – a really large and stylish room with massive bed , fully functioning kitchen and living room and a beautiful Veranda. The staff are incredibly helpful and one of the highlights is a top-class restaurant where they do really good sushi. Watching the sunset from the restaurant or the swimming pool is a particular highlight...

Pigeon point beach it’s a short walk away and one of the best beaches in the Caribbean – you should not miss the wonderful bar and restaurant on the beach where you can have fresh fish and a lovely rum punch. I highly recommend this hotel.

Maia restaurant is fab!

Review by Review_LM London, United Kingdom

I had two excellent meals at Maia over the course of a week. The setting is wonderful and serves as the perfect backdrop for delicious food and yummy cocktails. I was a fan of the sushi - which I didn’t expect to be so good on an island in the Caribbean! The staff are friendly and attentive and I would highly recommend.

A breath of fresh air!

Review by VicC1988 United Kingdom

We came here for a one night stay to escape an all inclusive resort we had been staying at but had been unimpressed from the poor service and food choices. In desperation, I looked for somewhere we could escape to for the night and wow, so glad I found this place!

This boutique style hotel has everything you need. Our pool/ beach front room is modern and spacious, the pool is tranquil and gorgeous and the harbour views and surroundings are serene.

We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant with a fabulous meal and great drinks menu - and enjoyed the mini bar on offer!

It’s the perfect balance of privacy without total isolation and the service is great - a welcome change from where we had been!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, a great little haven in a beautiful spot...

Ideal for just chilling out and peace and quiet, a great find!

Wonderful stay

Review by Kathryn W

Stayed here for 7 nights and can thoroughly recommend it. It is close to some great restaurants but the restaurant in the hotel is also worth visiting. The setting is beautiful but what makes it has to be the staff who cant do enough to make your stay so memorable.

Amazing waterfront restaurant

Review by Samantha L

We booked Maia restaurant at the South Point Hotel in English harbour and it did not disappoint.

We were shown to our waterside table and promptly served our drinks. I had an expresso martini which was amazing.

We decided to have sushi to start...

We have always been unsure of this cuisine so asked the waitress for help, told her what we liked and she did the rest. We have been converted and now love sushi.

The mains were amazing, I had the lobster which was unbelievable and fully prepared so no fiddling around and hubby had the steak.

Accompanied by a very good bottle of Pino noir all in all a fantastic evening.

It’s a little pricey but so worth it. Great service, amazing food and lovely ambiance as we ate with the exceptional 2 piece band singing in the background.

We loved it so much we have booked it again before we leave Antigua.
