Brilliant Holiday at Mango Bay Hotel

Just got back from our Holiday at Mango Bay Hotel. This was our 3rd visit but this time we came with our Daughter her Husband and our beautiful Grandson Henry of 7 months. We had a fabulous time. Rooms were good food was great and our stay was just so nice. Many of the staff made time for Henry especially Maxine...

Henry needs a special diet and the chef's from the restaurant went out of their way to make his meals for him. Thankyou. If you want a lovely hotel and location with good food and entertainment then Mango Bay Hotel Barbados is the place to stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff and food are the key to this hotel

Review by Sue M Southampton, United Kingdom

Wonderful stay at Mango Bay in February. The Room was just off the pool and only a few of these so we were very lucky. The food was faultless such variety and beautifully presented...

The staff were very attentive especially Damiane what an absolute superstar and an asset to this hotel. The CEO and the Customer care manager really do an amazing g job getting feedback and making sure things are put right.

The evening entertainment is the best we have had in the Caribbean live music every night in a boutique hotel it was awesome.

We had the pleasure of meeting g a couple and enjoyed being part of their wedding vowel renewal, what a great day!

Personally we found Barbados too commercial and ridiculously expensive.

I would highly recommend the hotel but sadly for us we would not go back to Barbados. We love the Caribbean and have visited 3 times already in the past 10 months. We love Antigua and St Kitts is also a beautiful island.

Thank you Mango Bay for your excellent service it truly made our holiday.

Fantastic holiday

Review by 711heatherw New Forest National Park Hampshire, United Kingdom

Just returned from our family holiday!, This is the only hotel for us as we are repeat customers and have been ever since the hotel first opened. Staff ,food, beach all fantastic. This hotel has a unique feel to it and not modern in any way but has that lovely relaxed bajan feeling . Rooms cleaned twice daily and nothings to much trouble if needed. It’s a long journey from uk to barb but it’s worth the wait. Beach vendors are also good a few to avoid but most are reasonable and do not bother you. Make use of the watersports facilities all free!!! All of our children have learnt to waterski thanks to Jerry and Peter. Unfortunately there were a few very large bookings of younger people that seemed to take over to some degree but that’s a one off hopefully! We had a day at the sister hotel The Sands completely free of charge it was extremely plush and worth a visit as some may prefer that modern, but still chilled vibe. What more can I say apart from keep doing what your doin Mr Odell because it’s works! Looking forward to the new Mango bay sports bar!,I did say I’ll come and work there for you!, 🤣 Hope to see you soon and a few of the other repeat customers we seem to bump into every time.

Beautiful Mango Bay

Review by TracyCubby Ross-on-Wye, United Kingdom

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Mango Bay. We stayed in a ground floor ocean view room which was excellent, we could walk out through the doors straight onto the beach. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and have everything you need, mini fridge with soft drinks, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, excellent air conditioning, large bathroom with plenty of storage space. Large wardrobe and plenty of drawers/shelves...

Bed extremely comfortable. Food was excellent quality, 2 nights were buffet, the rest A’la carte. Always a varied choice on the menu. Beach was beautiful, always plenty of sun beds. Nice walks along the beach in both directions. Great spot for snorkelling, I’m not a lover of the water but even I took part, you could literally stand knee high, put your face in the water and see rays and fish. My husband and son did kayaking and paddle boarding and we went on the free catamaran trip, you don’t get to swim with turtles on that one but still worth doing. We did an island tour with Ted’s tours, great guy who is very passionate about his island, and literally knows everyone on the island! Would recommend to book with him. We visited Tides restaurant which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, amazing place, so is the food, not the cheapest but for a treat or special occasion it’s definitely worth it. Anyone who is hesitant about booking, I would say go for it! If you want a great location, fantastic beach, friendly staff, excellent food, what more do you want.
