Very enjoyable experience. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Check in were most helpful. Peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Food was excellent and freshly cooked but a greater selection of fruit at breakfast would be welcome. Shuttel bus service was an added bonus and would recommend the glass bottom boat and the gully walk. Overall, we highly recommend Sugar Cane Club as a holiday destination
Lovely ambience. Very poor communication and customer service.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The hotel also provided a great shuttle service, which made getting around incredibly easy.
The hotel itself was excellent value for money, we had a stay with breakfast in a quite period, so ordered from a menu, had something for everyone and you can tailor your meal which was great. It was lovely, well-maintained and felt authentic. Our room was right in the wilderness, surrounded by lush greenery and felt like a little slice of the Caribbean jungle (not for everyone, but a lovely experience, and there are other rooms nearer the pool or removed if that's not your thing).
Although we didn't get the chance to visit the hotel beach, we made great use of the pool facilities and had a fantastic experience throughout. The waiters took the time to learn and remember our orders, which made the service feel genuinely personal and attentive.
The location initially felt a little far out, very quiet and quaint, but Fish Pot restaurant (we had a wedding there - lovely) and other restaurants are just off the main road and once you get your bearings its fine, and easy access via the shuttle.
Sand Street Bistro was also excellent, with wonderful food and service.
Overall, this was a truly memorable stay and we would absolutely love to return in the future.
Tired and dated I’ll stop there !
The location is good, the atmosphere was peaceful, room was very clean and comfortable. The service I received was good and I believe it was worth it. The meal options were very good and I totally enjoyed my daily breakfast. The rum punch was a perfect blend and tasted awesome.
