The hotel is located to the north-west of Choc Bay Beach, close to entertainment venues and a few kilometres from the airport. The sandy beach has a silvery white colour, with exquisite natural beauty. Castries is about 10-15 minutes away.
The resort was refurbished in 2010, is surrounded by tropical gardens with a quiet bay. The 169-room property features a currency exchange service, bars, a disco, laundry service and medical service. Other facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, hairdressing salon, a restaurant and wireless Internet access.
The hotel rooms have a private bathroom with a shower/bath and hairdryer, a satellite/cable TV, individually regulated air conditioning, an alarm clock radio, iron and ironing board, safe, telephone and Internet access. A king-size bed and balcony or terrace complete the amenities on offer.
The property has 2 fresh water pools and 1 dive pool, a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Aerobics, a gym, a hot tub, massage treatments and spa treatments are also available. Guests can go diving, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or pedal boating, or enjoy a game of tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker, beach volleyball or bocce. An entertainment programme for adults is also offered.
The hotel serves a breakfast buffet each morning, while lunch is buffet on all days and dinner are available à la carte. The hotel offers all-inclusive packages.

We absolutely loved halcyon! We have already booked to come back next year. The staff know you by name and are some of the friendliest people you will meet. LuSean, the entertainment manager, was wonderful. So friendly and interactive with guests and makes sure everyone is having a wonderful time. He is everyone’s best friend on the resort! The DJ played the perfect mix of songs everyday and was helpful when playing the games at the main pool. Kimberly and Mikayla at the bar were great. Dewitt the bartender who has been there for over 15 years at the Beach Bistro made amazing drinks and was so friendly. He was helping train another young man while we were there and really took pride in helping him succeed. The food was incredible. The best resort food I’ve ever had. It was not lacking in flavor. We love how bayside had different lunch themes everyday. Indian, creole, Italian, etc. It did rain 2 days that we were there but it was off and on and never for very long. And the wonderful part was it never got super humid and never cold, even while raining. We did see some wonderful rainbows We can’t wait to come back!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! If you are looking for a quiet but fun resort, Halcyon is your place. It was intimate and romantic for my wife and I on our honeymoon, but the staff also does a great job of providing entertainment. I definitely recommend a butler service room. Krysta, Sylvie, & Learie were incredible. Just a few restaurants but all of the food was great and it is easy to venture off to Grande and La Toc (La Toc has the best food) since Halcyon is in the middle of all resorts. We particularly enjoyed the interactive entertainment. Lesean (The Don) and Adam were awesome! We will be back!
Sandals Halcyon - A great place to get away to
Sandals Halcyon is a wonderful, smaller, and very intimate property. It's fairly flat and can be easily accessed by just about anyone. The grounds are beautiful, the beach is very nice, and the staff is delightful. You can easily spend the day just lounging on the beach and enjoy the Sandals hospitality. There is shuttle service to the other 2 Sandals resorts on St Lucia if you desire a change. It's a 20-minute shuttle ride to Cap Estates golf club if you want to get in a round or two (it can be a challenge so take a few extra balls). The restaurants are excellent and the beverages flow freely. NOTE: the resort is about 1-1/2 hours along a twisting mountain road from the airport, and that can be tiresome of many. There is a helicopter option or you can spend that money on a spa treatment. The spa is very nice and the service staff provides a very relaxing experience (note all services are in outdoor cabanas). The rooms are very nice and provide options with privacy and/or views. Overall this is a very nice resort for a quiet, romantic getaway

The best stay at Halcyon Beach!
My fiancé and I had a perfect vacation at Sandals Halcyon! The biggest stand out for us versus other Caribbean resorts we’ve visited was the friendliness of the Sandals staff. A specific shout out to Leshaun who gave us a great orientation to Halcyon and checked up on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and we’re enjoying our stay. Beyond Sandals staff, our excursion guides and Saint Lucia residents were also very friendly.
The resort itself is quiet and clean. The groundskeeping and cleaning staff do a phenomenal job. There are not a ton of rooms which makes the resort quiet & relaxing. It also makes it such that there are no (or very little) wait times at bars and restaurants and the beach/pools are not over crowded.
The excursions were well organized and had fantastic guides (I’d highly recommend the chocolate decadence excursion).
The food was also a highlight for us. We never had a bad meal during our entire stay. I would highly recommend making a reservation at Bombay Club on the Sandals Grande resort. This was the best meal we had on our trip. The signature cocktail there is amazing. Sandals offers a complementary shuttle that takes you between the other two Sandals resorts nearby. Definitely recommend taking advantage of this.
One downside of Halcyon is it is close to a busy roadway and so can hear some traffic at times. This was minor and didn’t really bother us, but is worthy pointing out.
One other thing we noticed (which can either be a positive or negative) is things die down quite early at Halcyon. By 11PM there were only a handful of people left at the bar. If you are looking for a resort with better night life, the larger Sandals Grande or La Toc resorts may be worth looking into over Halcyon.

Sandals Halycon Saint Lucia is a wonderful resort with top notch food, exemplary service and magnificent surroundings. You will be met by a team of singing staff, a welcome beverage and smiles all around.
