The hotel is located to the north-west of Choc Bay Beach, close to entertainment venues and a few kilometres from the airport. The sandy beach has a silvery white colour, with exquisite natural beauty. Castries is about 10-15 minutes away.
The resort was refurbished in 2010, is surrounded by tropical gardens with a quiet bay. The 169-room property features a currency exchange service, bars, a disco, laundry service and medical service. Other facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, hairdressing salon, a restaurant and wireless Internet access.
The hotel rooms have a private bathroom with a shower/bath and hairdryer, a satellite/cable TV, individually regulated air conditioning, an alarm clock radio, iron and ironing board, safe, telephone and Internet access. A king-size bed and balcony or terrace complete the amenities on offer.
The property has 2 fresh water pools and 1 dive pool, a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Aerobics, a gym, a hot tub, massage treatments and spa treatments are also available. Guests can go diving, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or pedal boating, or enjoy a game of tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker, beach volleyball or bocce. An entertainment programme for adults is also offered.
The hotel serves a breakfast buffet each morning, while lunch is buffet on all days and dinner are available à la carte. The hotel offers all-inclusive packages.

Halcyon - True to the word.
This was our second trip to Sandals Halcyon. We love everything about the experience from start to finish. First, shout outs to all the staff for a fantastic job attending to the guests on such a personal level. Personal shout outs to: LaShaun (The Don), Jean Eve, Sam, Patrick, and my St Lucian BFF Dyllan all on entertainment. Amanda - Bayside Mgr, Veronica - Chef, Gee - Chef, Nathalie - Hostess. Anikka, Cheryl, and Celina in Mario's. Celine and Nadin from Red Lane will treat you like royalty! Josie from refreshment/bar service. The entire Club Sandals staff! Sherylynn and the Gift Shop staff! Danna and Tiny at Watersports! Mario's - Excellent, Kelly's Dockside - Excellent, and the Taste of St. Lucia was awesome! And finally a shout out to Sharon, an amazing GM!
Our room was Club Level Ocean View in the 400 section. One word. Awesome. The Housekeeping Staff kept our room in pristine condition. Tip: Fill your soaker tub with cool water and have a dunk in it before going to bed to fight off the humidity and just enjoy the night breeze.
Take advantage of the on-site gym if you want to run off last night's dinner.
The evening entertainment is always awesome. Violinists, Pianists, Saxophonists, Singers, Dancers, Fire Dancers, even an MJ impersonator who was really good.
The beach is peaceful and relaxing. The water is calm enough to relax and float, yet active enough to enjoy the Watersports offerings. You'll love riding Big Mable!
The longest pool in the Caribbean will be found at Halcyon and it is just peaceful to relax in after a day on the beach. Tip: Take a dip in the long "lazy river" pool in the late afternoon. A nice way to end your day before heading up to change for dinner.
Don't forget to check out the schedule of daily activities and events. There is a weekly Tea Party that you DO NOT want to miss.
And last but not least, a shout out to Kennedy! Even though he is not Sandals staff, he works the Halcyon beach for excursions and my "brother from another mother" will treat you like family! There are craft vendors who work the beach area. Tip: Buy gifts early in your stay from beach vendors if you want a local prize, and they won't ask again. The vendors are not pushy at all at Halcyon. Most of the time they will only ask once.

A nice place for a small wedding
Stayed 5 days for granddaughters wedding. Everything went well for the wedding, and the staff were most accommodating.
Our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:30 which was very disappointing. We were club level ocean side and for the money paid expected better service than that. Waiting in the club lounge was not as comfortable as being in our room after a day of traveling
Food every day for every meal was great. The only disappointment was at the Japanese restaurant. Our chef was clumsy and unskilled. But the food was good.
Our driver from the airport to the resort drove very fast and it was like being on a roller coaster for 90 minutes. The driver from the resort to the airport was much kinder and easier on the body.

Amazing Vacation. Highly recommended.
We celebrated our honeymoon/first anniversary at Sandals Halcyon. We were so impressed. Guests receive excellent care and are treated like family. They went out of their way to make sure we were fully satisfied. We constantly were surprised with silk rose petals, chocolate cake in our room with “Congratulations” on it, champagne, Congratulations card. It was sad leaving the property and our new friends there.

Highly recommend Sandals Halcyon
We had a little hiccup upon check in as our room was not ready that day due to a maintenance issue. Sachelle went above and beyond to try and make up for the inconvenience. She was extremely professional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Adrian was also very helpful getting us settled into our beautiful new room. The property was amazing. We were on our honeymoon and we were able to shut off the outside world and truly relax. The food was delicious! We ate at every restaurant and we had wonderful food at each of them. The service was wonderful as well.
We had a couples massage will on property. Our therapists were Ivy and Julianna. These were the best massages we have ever had. They were both extremely helpful and kind. They are very good at their craft.
Butler, Krysta, made us some wonderful drinks for breakfast.
Overall a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Sandals Halcyon.
Our Honeymoon
We had the best time on our honeymoon. The food was amazing. We had couple massages that I scheduled later on in the week. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The only thing we had that wasn't so great was Kelley's for dinner. It took someone a very long time to take our drink order, while everyone else was receiving their drink orders and someone taking our order, we didn't. It took someone about 15 minutes to do so and that person was someone's butler. Besides that, the food there was very good.
Overall, I would go again in a heart beat!
