We came to St. Lucia for a babymoon and were blown away by Ti Kaye. The team was amazing, the food was the best we had on the whole island (and, perhaps, on any vacation ever), and the property is simply stunning...
We picked the resort because it is intimate, on the beach, and close to the rum distillery my husband wanted to tour - we had no idea it would be such a treat! We wholeheartedly recommend this little piece of paradise.
We originally planned this trip for April 2020. However, we all know why that didn’t happen. Ti Kaye was wonderful to work with getting our perfect vacation dates rearranged...
If you’re looking for a destination that is relaxing and off the beaten path, Ti Kaye is your place. The location is simply beautiful and we will certainly come back. Our stay was eleven nights. We were looking for a place that was quiet and stress free and they delivered.
Dinners at the Kai Manje restaurant were always excellent and the menu changed nightly. Which was great because to drive or get a ride to somewhere else to eat would be quite the journey. The road coming down to the resort from the main road would be great for a Jeep Wrangler.
The snorkeling in St Lucia is truly amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The resort staff is very friendly and accommodating. Earl Antoine, at the Tai Manje restaurant down at the beach, made the best onion rings for us on three occasions. They aren’t on the menu but he made some for our Sunset Cruise and we had to have more. Thank you Earl Antoine for fulfilling our special request. BTW, Nick, put the onion rings on the menu. :-)
We loved our time at Ti Kaye and will encourage everyone we know to come here.
Ti Kaye is a very peaceful, romantic and rustic resort with a full frontal Oceanview. The sun sets into the ocean. This resort will keep you fit, it's a workout having to walk anywhere, it's not just the steps to the beach...
I probably lost a few pounds staying here which is great. Ti Kaye has a very at home feel
PROS: Privacy- you don't see or hear your neighbors Outdoor shower- what a neat concept and there's a door that opens to the view of the ocean. Beautiful mosaic floors, plants, clothing line. This felt more sanitary than had the shower been indoors Size- there's only 33 villas, you will see many of the same couples and probably end up talking to most of them and having alot in common High Ceiling- loved the high ceiling in the room as well as the bathroom Mosquito netting for the bed Nice staff Good beach food although they ran out of certain foods or drinks alot Dinner was delicious, portions could be larger The View!
CONS: No other dining options for dinner or breakfast. Eating at the same place every night gets boring Continental breakfast wasnt great. Nothing was really tasty. Service was sometimes slow or inconsistent. Food would be brought out first to people who came after us. One night we actually just had to get up and leave because our waiter kept skipping our table. Bathroom where the sink and toilet are should be more luxurious There are large gaps under the main door, like an inch that let in critters or let the air conditioning out. We laid towels down to seal it No TV. I know you're supposed to be out and about but with all the rain that can linger, it would be nice to have television. Mosquito repellent should be provided since they are all over, but you have to purchase or bring your own.
TIPS: Getting around the resort is a workout so be prepared. Bring mosquito repellent Avoid room service only bc the food will attract teeny tiny ants. They were everywhere at the presence of food The beach isn't the type of beach where you lounge all day. It's quite small and damp.
My husband & I came here for my birthday & our anniversary. It was the first of 2 hotels we were staying at on our trip. As soon as we arrived we were sad we only booked for 2 days...
The property is the PERFECT combo of comfort and nature. If you are concerned about traveling and are trying to be away from. The crowd and covid this is a great place to come. Our villa was private and had a perfect ocean view. It’s rustic but not dingy at all. It’s as a VIBE.
The staff is excellent. The beach is amazing. Make sure you snorkel and see the reef. (Good to know that The beach is accessible via stairs)
Do not think that because the cost of staying here is more affordable, you’re getting less because this place could easily be 1000 a night, justifiably. Is beautiful and peaceful and respects all covid precautions. Oh and make sure you have a good dinner budget if you don’t get an all inclusive ( recommended)
Perfect trip to enjoy traveling again…intimate, clean, relaxing, and wonderful! My husband and I came to Ti Kaye in July first trip since Covid and first trip since having a baby. We loved the resort. The staff was wonderful...
The size of the resort was perfect…the cottages were gorgeous (my recommendation: splurge for the plunge pool). Get ready for a hike on the way to the beach! Those stairs…wow! But it makes the beachside food and drink service more rewarding! ☺️ Definitely snorkel at the resort beach, we did snorkeling in other locations around the island but the best views were those right from the resort! The resort will set up excursions for you and they are wonderful. For a splurge we did 1/2 day private sailboat rental. It was so worth it to see the amazing views of the island by boat. Thank you to everyone at Ti Kaye for a wonderful getaway!
