All rooms have a king-size bed, hot tub, minibar, large flat-screen TV with satellite/cable channels, high-speed Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning. A telephone, private balcony or patio with teak tables and chairs and beautiful ocean views are further features. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bath and hairdryer. In addition, each room comes with a radio, hi-fi, safe, minibar, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel offers a Piton trek, deep sea fishing, a countryside picnic, a rainforest adventure, scuba diving, sailing and kayaking. On site, guests will find a spa with ocean views offering massage and spa treatments, a gym with cardiovascular equipment, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, a poolside snack bar and a hot tub. Lovely relaxed small hotel

Review by Brit98 Beccles, United Kingdom

There are lots of huge hotels in St Lucia which are a bit impersonal but Calabash is lovely - small and boutiquey.

Take one of the houses above the beach which has a little plunge pool and are beautifully set up.

The beach is nice with good beach sun loungers and canoes/paddle boards. Drinks are served on the beach. The pool is great with a swim bar and a spectacular sunset view.

The restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful But….

Review by lulujack Kettering, United Kingdom

Undeniably Calabash Cove is beautiful, it has the wow factor in spades. Our room was lovely too. But sadly, for us, we found ‘the everything else’ in an all inclusive resort lacking. We like luxury, we have stayed at Sugar Beach, Jade Mountain before, and this trip (in Covid times), we opted to stay at Cap Maison and Calabash...

I was excited to head to Calabash, i had high expectations. We headed to the beach and…where’s the shade? We found a little spot under a tree and pulled two sun loungers there… and where’s the towels. Oh, they’re in the room! Not off to the best start, but early days. We went for lunch: now again I admit I’m a foodie, and I like my wines. I glanced through the wine list and thought: my, I cook with these wines. Not impressed, although in the end I found the rose reasonable. The food was so/so. Dinner the food wasn’t even so/so…it wasn’t good at all. The steak was inedible. Perhaps as most people note you should stick to the daily specials. I had the banana flambé for pud, and…it literally was cut bananas swimming in brandy with something burnt on top! Mindless! Breakfast was ok, except for the simple item of toast! I think it had been freshened up in the oven! We spoke to the very amenable Konrad Wagner after just two nights at Calabash and he arranged for us to return to Cap Maison. We were very, very grateful. To write a negative review is not my default position, however if you’re a foodie like me, this is not the place to go. One shout out: Patrick the bar tender. He made awesome smoothies, but someone get him the ingredients to make a perfect cosmopolitan! A true asset to the hotel.

Calabash Is A Great Choice

Review by Sexybre Los Angeles, California

Calabash Resort is definitely a 5 star facility. I was very happy with the dress code in the dining room which kept the vacation attire away from dining. All the staff was friendly and memorized all guests and greeted you by name...

Kenny and Konrad were especially helpful both during and before our trip. I wish I could remember the names of the ladies in food service that made our party and daily dining experience special. Our room was huge and had a great view. The jacuzzi tub was so nice. This place is very clean. The only drawback is the number of stairs that will keep people with handicaps and limited mobility from staying at the facility. I recommend this place to everyone.

Luxurious and relaxing resort with the best staff ever

Review by William T Henderson, Nevada

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in a Water’s Edge Cottage, and it was awesome! The 77 steps from our cottage to the restaurant were a bit exhausting (I’m out of shape and have a bad ankle), but I chose to think of it as a good workout to burn some of the calories from all of the incredibly wonderful food.

While the resort itself was great, and the food was awesome, the staff is what truly set Calabash Cove apart from any other resort we’ve enjoyed. Not only do each and every one of the staff provide professional and exceptional service (and call you by name!), but they are also very nice and lots of fun. I don’t think we had a single interaction with any of the staff where smiles and laughter were not part of the conversation...

Dudley, Maggie, Chanel, Kevin, Rohan, Patrick, Ashley – sorry, but I’m forgetting some names – really added a lot to our overall wonderful experience on this vacation. The people they contract with for taxis and helicopters were also fabulous and we learned a lot about the island every time we took a ride. The helicopter ride from the airport after our arrival was awesome, as was the car ride back (when we weren’t in such a hurry to get to our destination); both provided very nice tours of the island.

• Reserve a Water’s Edge Cottage if you can afford it and if you can handle a bit of a workout with a lot of steps to and from the restaurant and lobby.
• The all-inclusive option was fantastic. Our prior experiences at other all-inclusive resorts had been that all-inclusive meant you could eat and drink all you wanted, but it was only average food and beverages, and many times you had to wait for a table (if you could even get one at your preferred restaurant). At Calabash, the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and it was plentiful with fantastic, delightful and unique specials for each meal every day. We never had to wait for a table, and when we ordered room service, it came within a very reasonable timeframe. • Prior to your trip, when you have questions about the accommodations, send them an email! They are very responsive and always provided very helpful information. • The private dinner on the pier was magical and worth every penny of the nominal additional charge for that luxury. • If you’re looking for a Caribbean vacation where you are constantly on the go shopping and sight-seeing, St. Lucia would not be super high on my list. But if you’re looking for a very relaxing and luxurious vacation at a resort with tons of amenities including awesome food and you want to do a little sightseeing and shopping while in St. Lucia, book your stay at Calabash Cove – and prepare to enjoy an absolutely wonderful resort with the very best staff on the planet.

The best in honeymoon resorts!

Review by Jay M Saint Paul, Minnesota

Calabash Cove is the premier honeymoon spot. We wanted to escape to somewhere beautiful, secluded, and exclusive for our honeymoon. Calabash Cove has all of that and more...

We traveled there the first week of November and felt extremely safe due to their COVID-19 protocols. Everything was sterilized and very clean. Additionally, we can't praise the staff more. They care about their jobs and go above and beyond to make your stay special. We really miss them all. The concierges are capable and will help you arrange just about anything (room service, COVID-19 re-entry tests, transportation to the airport, a day into town, etc). What we loved the most about the resort are the facilities and grounds. The landscaping is so beautiful with amazing flowers. They have a private beach that you often have all to yourself. We also rented one of the private villas and we cannot recommend the villas more! We loved our private deck and pool. We switched back and forth between the privacy of our pool and the community pool deck. Overall, this is a fantastic resort. We can't recommend this place anymore.
