I originally made a reservation on Hotels.com for $1100 a night for the presidential suite. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was not presented the rate of the hotel like I am at every other hotel in the world. Furthermore, upon checkout, the agent told me the rate was $1375 a night...
When I presented the hotels.com paperwork, he said that he could not honor that price. DON'T LIE TO PEOPLE ABOUT THE RATE AND CHARGE THEM MORE.
Pro’s: Great Staff! Everyone is so nice and responsive. Nice bathrooms. Umbrellas available if you need...
Let’s be honest, this is an older hotel. If the year was 1983 this place would be AMAZING. The hotel is older and outdated. Hallway lights turn off after 4 seconds of no motion. We paid the extra $$$ and rented the suite with the “hot tub”. Found a piece of glass next to the bed. (See photo) Glad I didn’t slice my foot. No coffee pods in the room while we were there.
They didn’t have Champagne or Prosecco at the bar, but had Mosecco. Beers are served semi cold. A bus from a senior citizen tour group was staying at the hotel as well, they fit the hotel. We did not. Neighborhood, not the best.
Overall, If you’re under the age of 45, this is not the hotel or neighborhood for you. Stay in OldTown or rent an AirBnb.
Hotel is nicely located but very close to the public beach and if you choose “ sae side” room you will hear all night noises from those nightly parties. Hotel is nice but rooms are tiny and when we paid for “ sea side room” , our room was on a second floor with view on parking lot, when we ask for a sea view we got an explanation that sea side does not mean sea views! Service was very nice at the patio but not at the front desk. Rooms are so tiny and no closet space whatsoever, we had to keep all suite cases outside.
Our room was good sized, the breakfast on the patio or inside was included and fresh and plentiful . The pool was small but nice. We ordered food and drinks one afternoon, good service...
Location was easy to walk to anything but quiet. Very comfortable bed. We arrived from the airport at 12:30 and they let us check in early . Everyone was friendly.
The activities are very nice and entertaining. They have very nice swimming pools and lots of places to enjoy the sun. You can enjoy both the beach and the aqua park and I think that's amazing...
The people from the stuff are very nice and very friendly.
