Fabulous location

Review by Monique M North East England, United Kingdom

Loved our short break in this hotel. We had a 7th floor deluxe double room with balcony and amazing sea views to Lokrum and the old town. The room was average in size and I'm not sure whether the aircon would cope in the summer months...

Everything you could need was provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. There are 2 restaurants and I can highly recommend the Victoria fine dining one, with delicious dishes and attentive friendly staff (who can all say 'Wey Aye, Man!' now, when they next meet their Geordie president 😁). The pool was freezing (the sea was slightly warmer), but then, it's only early May and there was an indoor pool which was fine. Only a 5 minute walk to the old town, with plenty to see and do (e.g. walk on the city walls, Game of Throne tour, cable car up the mountain, a day on the nearby beach). Lots of places to eat and drink. Plenty of boat trips to the beautiful islands. It's a beautiful place and we absolutely loved our stay. I'm glad we went in May as I imagine it would be a lot busier in the summer months.

Blissful stay

Review by Gemma_elaine North Wales, United Kingdom

Grand Villa Argentina is absolutely stunning, a beautiful hotel with great staff and a perfect location. The views from our room, up on the seventh floor, were gorgeous and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with options for freshly cooked meals.

Fabulous hotel and holiday

Review by JeniferP114 Sunderland, United Kingdom

My husband and I bought each other a city break in lieu of Christmas pressies and Dubrovnik was what I chose. We were very impressed when we arrived at the hotel. The staff are absolutely lovely...

They can not do enough for you and always have a lovely smile. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the grounds are well kept. We loved the beach area which can be reached by a lift in the hotel. Shout out to the lovely Nicky who looks after the sun beds ect. He is very pleasant and can't do enough for you. The hotel is just a short walk from the old town.. downhill...just take your time on the way back as the taxis have to go around the one way system if you don't walk back up. The scenery from our superior room was stunning.

A wonderful hotel

Review by SunnyDayz2010 Bromley, United Kingdom

A really wonderful stay at this hotel. The service, attention and cleanliness were 5*. The hotel has probably the best outlook of all the hotels in Dubrovnik, just stunning...

It’s probably a little dated for some but they are hoping to do a full refurbishment in November and will close for around 18 months. I’m sure that this will mean it will command a higher rate so book now if you can.
