Great holiday

Review by Muslou St. Albans, United Kingdom

My bestie Lou & I have just returned from a much needed 2 week holiday, it was fabulous just what we needed , peaceful, restful, beautiful beach, delicious food, great cocktails , hot sunny days , lovely friendly staff. Elias beach met all our needs , we wanted a restful break & that’s exactly what we got. There isn’t a lot going on in the evenings & nowhere really to go outside of the hotel which is exactly what we wanted , though we did catch the bus to Limassol marina which was very busy but thoroughly enjoyable...

The food is very good, Orchids the pan Asian restaurant is excellent. We are both carrying quite a few extra pounds from the delicious food !! Thank you to all the staff, all the students , Ermis at the pool bar & Costas & his friendly banter at breakfast. There are building works going on but it didn’t impact on our holiday at all , there seems to be a lot of building work going on in Cyprus in general judging by what we saw on the transfer to & from the airport & it didn’t bother us one bit . We loved it 🥰

A really good hotel to stay at with helpful staff, free covid testing and printing of any documents needed. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We received the room we had requested, food wonderful, nothing to fault.

Staff fantastic, food below average, beware.....

Review by lolabunny Staffordshire

We stayed here for a week and the food the first evening was ok, however there is little to no variety on what is there for lunch and dinner. Most nights it was a joint of pork. The food was only luke warm, if you are a strict vegetarian you will struggle. There was melon the first day and then after that none! Breakfast was ok again nothing special every time i went and asked for a poached egg or an omelette i got such a disapproving look from the lady, as though it was putting her out! The waffles and packed tasted of rubber, lack of fruit...

You were supposed to wear a mask and gloves when collecting your food, however we witnessed hardly anyone using the gloves. We got funny looks when we were wearing gloves at the buffet. However the staff are so friendly and helpful. we sat outside most fo the time and all the waitresses were so polite, however you either had lots of staff and staff wanting you to hurry up eating so they could clear your plate, or no staff to order your drinks. As other people have mentioned the asian and greek restaurant was open one day each, the greek restaurant had no menu just placed dishes in front of you, but a lovely setting by the beach. We didnt go to the asian as it lacked vegetarian options. The lady at reception is so helpful she arranged a car for us for three days and made it so easy that we could just pick it up and drop off from reception. The all inclusive finishes at 11 and doesnt start till 10 so the only bar around the pool always had a queue the poor gentleman behind it could never get rid of the queue as various people were ordering 5/6 drinks at a time. Entertainment team were great the daily aqua/stretch class was good fun. lack of entertainment the supposedly live singers of the evening in the bar by reception was just so mediocre and very disappointing. The construction site is little noisy however we were warned about this by our travel agent TUI. One night there was a wedding on and it was so obvious the locals got treated better than us as we waited ages to be served drinks and the food was appalling that night but the food by the beach and party looked by far infront of what we had experienced all week. We spent alot of our days out as we couldn't be dealing with the food quality, but the staff are amazing.

Lovely time and lovely hotel but please read review!

Review by Marcus G Porth, RCT

This is a really nice hotel but there isn't much to do in the area, although you could catch a bus to go the hustle & bustle of Limassol. The buffet was good but there could have been more variation/choice of food. The hotel was advertised as having four restaurants but the Amadeus was closed, the pan Asian restaurant was only open a few nights and the Greek restaurant was only open one night over the course of 2 weeks (possibly because of all the weddings and low number of guests), the Beach bar was also closed throughout the stay...

The Havana venue and the cocktail bar was also closed throughout. The drinks were of good quality and you could have premium drinks on the all inclusive(Smirnoff,Gordon's etc). And also be aware that there is a lot of building work going on next door. Apart from all that we did really enjoy the stay and the staff were excellent, especially Asta, Violeta and Svetlana and the barman at the pool (I've forgotten this name) who were very efficient and helpful. The pool area was really nice and the entertainment team were really good with getting people involved in activities. There was entertainment most nights of the week Some of the entertainment was good especially the blues brother but some of it was a bit dreary. We bought and took Covid tests with us but we were told by a guest that we could have free PCR tests done at the hotel, which we did. I'm still going to give this hotel a good rating as it has many redeemable qualities.

Beware, construction site next door!

Review by ian_johno54 Standish, United Kingdom

This is only a quick review as a warning to others. We arrived yesterday after paying more for a Superior Room with a FULL sea view. We got to our room, pulled back the curtains and were greeted with a FULL construction site view. Three giant cranes soar high, right next to the hotel...

Jet2 had said nothing at all about any construction nearby. After protesting about this to Reception they offered an upgrade to a family suite (not sure it is an upgrade) which was further round, giving the sea view we were expecting, as long as we don't look to the right! Seeing Jet2 Rep tomorrow as they should not be selling these rooms with that description and should make customers aware of the construction next door. I'll be doing full review after this holiday.
