5* Experience

Greeted at Check in by professional, quick and efficient staff, everything was ready & waiting for us. Room was basic but a good size & had everything we needed. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool, gardens and beach, comfy and clean. Pools x 3 were well laid out with an adults only section, mixed family and a baby & toddler pool. Pool bar was great & spoilt for choice with the cocktail menu, all drinks were branded. Beach and walking down the prom to the marina was a pleasant stroll with a couple of bars along the way. At the front of the hotel was a supermarket & reasonably priced. There isn't much around the location a few restaurants & bars but the number 30 bus stops directly outside if you want to travel into Limassol. The hotel Food WOW!!! brilliant so much choice and different themes each day, the Pan Asian restaurant was an epic experience!. Low key entertainment at night was pleasurable & the staff service & response was excellent the Elias staff worked extremely hard. Throughout the hotel everywhere was spotlessly clean & excellent Covid measures were evident & in place throughout our stay. Would I recommend this hotel & would I stay again? ABSOULUTY no hesitation!!! Thank you to all the Elias staff team for a fantastic hotel stay & holiday experience. Tracey

Near perfect 20th Oct - 30th Room 406

I visited this hotel around 7 years ago for a friends wedding and enjoyed it immensely. So for a first holiday in several years due to Covid, I thought I'd opt for a safe pair of hands and try it again.

Me and my fiance arrived for 10 days at the end of October and loved every minute of it. I will attempt to detail as many of the main points as I can along with any constructive criticisms.

Upon arrival we were greeted by exceptionally professional staff who gave us all of the necessary information we may need along with our room keys etc. As our flight was delayed we had missed dinner however, the hotel had kindly put by a 'packed lunch' for us which was an unexpected and very welcome surprise. Also, as we were close to the end of bar service, the concierge offered to hold our luggage whilst we enjoyed a quick evening night cap at the bar. Just excellent service (a running theme with this hotel).

Our room was an inland twin (we pushed the beds together), and whilst it was basic and functional, it was also clean and comfortable. One draw back would be that the balcony doors are not all that great at preventing noise and so the occasional night time boy-racer may wake the light sleeper.

The main area of the hotel would be it's rear facing garden/pool area and private beach. All areas are clean and well maintained. The beach is small however, we never had an issue getting a sun lounger when required. The beach bar is well stocked and the staff here are also exceptional, with particular praise bestowed upon Ermis, and Doville (I think the spellings are correct). In the afternoon there is entertainment on offer for those who have children or indeed want to participate themselves.

The host of the entertainment in our case was Tony (Blues); whose enthusiasm and approachability was amazing, and genuinely made our whole holiday better by his being there. A genuine credit to the Kanika brand.

The Mokka bar (upstairs) has a great terrace for evening drinks and staff members Asta and Christos are it's star's, providing yet more of that excellent customer service.

The buffet food was exceptional, breakfast, lunch and dinner were always superb, and the variety on offer was awesome. I have heard criticism aimed at the lack of variety before however, I don't necessarily understand as there are a mountain of options at every service. Perhaps if you are not an adventurous eater and tend only to eat 'beige food' you may struggle as there are usually just a couple of those options like chips and fish fingers for example.

The staff at buffet services were an absolute bunch of stars. Both the permanent staff and Also the temporary staff who I believe were young Polish work experience placements. I forget the names but generally speaking the service was outstanding, the manner polite and professional and I looked forward to seeing them at each meal time. Particular mention should be aimed at a young girl who I believe is Bulgarian by birth but a permanent staff member at Elias who every morning remembered our drinks order and how we liked them and served them before we'd even sat down and asked. This level of service is common throughout the Elias beach hotel and certainly it's greatest asset.

We ate twice at the Orchids asian restaurant which warrants some praise and Also some criticism. Both times we are there the starters and desserts were great. I had the Tuna starter twice which was exemplary and I'd be happy to receive it at any Asian restaurant in the UK. My fiance had the sushi and she appeared equally satisfied. The desserts were also excellent with particular focus on the cream brulee which was real nice. The mains however were somewhat disappointing. I had the Duck first time and the Beef second. And there are some basic cooking skills missing in their preperation. The Duck was overcooked and the fat soft. This is a complete reversal of how any good piece of quacking meat should be served. The fat should be rendered, ideally crispy and the Me at served pink. It was a rare disappointment but one worth mentioning. The Beef was also poor, it may have been boiled beef, but should have been finished in a pan as it has an unusual sogginess to it that I find difficult to explain away. The sauce was also unusual and poorly balanced. Just some basics missing here that aren't apparent elsewhere in the hotels food service.

Overall though, this hotel gets 5 stars from me. It's real shining light and greatest credit go to it's staff. I have never been so completely satisfied with the personal service received at any other venue. I hope this praise is passed on to them, not only those named, but generally the entire team, from the porter to the manager who was equally attentive.

I would have absolutely no hesitation about staying at Elias Beach again, they make it incredibly difficult to go home.

OK stay.

There are many good things about this place but also much room for improvement.

When we arrived we were disappointed to see that the hotel was right next to a construction site which we weren't aware of before hand. Thankfully the noise level from the sight was low but it just wasn't nice to look at!

Our room was nice and clean but very dated. Our fridge was replenished with bottled water every day which was nice. Bathroom definitely in need of an upgrade and lighting in bedroom was terrible, I had to use the mirror in the bathroom when getting ready. Our room was close to the road so there was some road noise but we got used to it. There is a karaoke bar across the road and one night my sleep was disturbed by the loud singing!

The main hotel grounds are beautiful and there was plenty of sunbeds available. We found most of the other guests to be friendly but the hotel hosts alot of weddings which meant that there were large groups of wedding guests dominating the place and being noisy sometimes, especially around the pool during the day.

We enjoyed the buffet, and the food at the Asian restaurant was delicious. It was nice to be able to have A la Carte meals whilst we were there for a change. The selection of drinks on the all inclusive menu was excellent and the cocktails were amazing- I've never been to another hotel which offers as many premium drinks on an all-inclusive menu as this one!

We were disappointed by the evening entertainment and found ourselves bored of a night time, especially as the bar closes quite early and there aren't many places you can visit nearby if you want to go somewhere more lively. There were also lots of people smoking in the seating area of the bar which made it impossible not to inhale if you were sitting at a table close by!

The best thing about this place was the staff. The bar staff were excellent- special thanks to Dovile who was always so professional and made us some amazing cocktails. The entertainment team made an effort to get everybody active. The restaurant staff were very attentive to begin with but there was a changeover of staff towards the end of our stay and unfortunately the service went down hill after that.

Overall we had a lovely stay but probably would not go back.

Brilliant meals, top class service great covid procedures

First holiday abroad since the pandemic so we were cautious and hesitant. This was the first time to Cyprus and our stay could not have been better. The staff were excellent in every way, attentive, polite and always helpful. I am vegetarian (my wife is not) the variety for us both was amazing and every meal was well prepared and the quality was second to none. I cannot praise this hotel enough for a wonderful stay. Our room had a sea view and the room was cleaned daily and the hotel was spotless throughout. When someone finished a meal their table was cleaned with anti viral spray, there were hand sanitizers everywhere and masks for those that had forgotten theirs. I noticed the staff having to deal with a few incidents with masks/smoking in wrong areas and they were polite and firm so there was not doubt they had the residents safety and comfort at the forefront of their minds. I will not hesitate to book this hotel again and we are already looking for dates next year in May and October. Amazing staff, brilliant quality and efficient service. One of the most enjoyable holidays because of the way we were looked after.

Good but there is room for improvement

Pros: -Huge room with balcony -Great views -Lunch buffet was nice -Breakfast is OK -Visited during a quiet period (October) and that made my stay relaxing -Covid-19 measures were followed in all areas

Cons: -Cleanliness of the room is average. Attention to detail should be given, especially in the bathroom. -Dinner buffet was average -Staff looked very tired -Very small parking area
